Thanks to capatalism the cycles likely to continue. Yea Capatalism!!! Actually, its pretty much always been true. Very few games are truly worthwhile, and they get imitated the heck out of.

I think more population generates more taxes... not sure where I got that, but I'm reasonably sure about it.
That's basically the reason why there probably *won't* be a custom symbol option in multiplayer. lol!
Hey, who broke the thread? I can't read anything past a certain point for some weird reason (Or even see the typing box until I managed to hit the advanced post button).
Jperzio, would you please restate your comment more clearly? In fact, might I recommend that you type your posts out in word, or some other processor, and spell / grammar check them before you post them? You're very hard to read, and I usually just end up skipping your posts.
It could even be the other way around: No... I don't like that. That makes the search upgrade a waste, instead of a good thing.
This doesn't do quite what I meant, this just maxes out the bounty/sell/buy that you do. Actually, it multiplies the amount of the click by 5 or 4 depending on the window. You buy / sell in units of 500 resources, and place bounties in amounts of 1000 (instead of 100 / 250).
Bun-Bun is epic WIN. Hrm... Yeah, I suppose so. Just don't be on the other team, lol.
BTW, why do I *have* to jump straight to alliance? Isn't it labeled "Non-aggresion" rather than ally? Shouldn't I be able to choose alliance (with the burden of assisting my ally) as a separate option?
Why not just have a game option to disable/enable super-weapons? Then everyone's happy. Balance becomes even more complicated (potentially not by much, but still some balance issues -- what if there are some units with special "anti-superweapon" powers, i. e. planetary shields?).
Though obviously that won't cut it when it comes time for multiplayer. Hehe, yeah
helping our people. I understand that that was Stalin's goal, too
Really now? How much of that did you guys steal when we we fell apart? Actually, its in the nature of different designs -- your jet engines were designed with special filters and the like to help prevent FOD, because you just can't keep your runways clean
even the most recent (or pending rather) russian aircraft is 20 years behind american tech. Don't denigrate Russian tech too much. They have the ability to take off from a dirty runway, whereas any of our jets that tried that would take FOD.
I decided to open up a thread were we can share all our "LOL" in-game moments. For example (and yeah, both of these depend on phase accelerators): I just had the pirates launch a raid on my territory, and with 20K+ bounty on my head I wasn't even going to bother sending them elsewhere. So, I just parked 3 of my capitol ships right on top of the base->star phase lane the pirates had to take, anywhere in my territory they went. My capships started destroying the pirates
Thanks RL for answering all the questions you could. So you would want to have trade centers at the farthest points of your empire. No, at every point in your empire. How about two trade centers at the same planet? I wonder if that would do anything for you? Trading between centers can't be intra-systemic, but multiple centers will produce more trade ships (and I think attract more) <div
That doesn't answer my question: Do you still get an improvement out of depleted asteroids?
1. A game and it's saves get corrupted and when you load the bad save it starts zoomed in and frozen, no ctd within my normal waiting time soI have to re-boot. Thats the one I have. 2. During a game, it freezes and ctd's after about 90 seconds(reminds me of the gc2 beta), but save games aren't corrupted and you can continue on from the last save. Looks like I'll have to turn autosave back on. Thats the o
Stupid question: Anyone know if the crystal / metal mining technologies do any good after an asteroid is depleted? Or do they just get you to the depletion point faster?
In my most recent game I got the following: Porous Core Kalanite Deposits Expert Crystal / Metal Miners Phase Accelerator's Everything except the Porous Core came out of the first "search" upgrade. The second one showed up nothing. All this, on one planet. Wow. BTW, here's an idea: Transforming bonuses. A bonus that, as you explore the planet, changes its nature. I. E: D: Noxious Fungus: A noxious fungus makes living here imp
Q1. What are the effects of multiple broadcast centers at the same planet. Pre patch I found an ai planet that had 3 broadcast centers and a lot of culture. If you have 2 does the culture spread twice as fast? 3 broadcast centers does it spread 3X as fast? I'm not 100% sure on how it adds up, but I do believe they add up. I also don't know if you can get a higher "cap" or if you just reach maximum culture quicker. AKA: Devs, lets answer some q
A lot of people probably just bookmark straight to the forums, so they never see the poll. Poll? What poll?
Even if you can destroy the "administrative personel" and infrastructure on an enemy planet, unless the planet itself is actually blown to bits, it would not be a big deal in the game. You're joking, right? I don't know about you, but I spend buko bucks on upgrading each and every planet's logistical ability, making all of them powerful economic centers (well, as powerful as they can be).
yea they are and i have player it i like the superwepons on that game cos u just build anti nuke thing. But if they dont have something like that then i dont want super weps The anti-nuke thing only handles nukes, one of about 5 superweapons per side. (Though many of the experimentals are, quite frankly, jokes. Bad jokes.) There is the T3 artillery unit, which can bombard your base from a long distance
