2.5 years does seem like a long time to wait for Vista 64 systray support, does it not? Making the users jump through hoops to get a beta off SDC that actually does work is either an oversight that should be corrected or sadism that should be punished. I mean, it already works. It just isn't on Impulse and is hard to get. What's up with that?

You need the beta from Stardock Central (as opposed to Impulse). There is a whole process which is detailed in other posts, but essentially completely remove OD, install Stardock Central (SDC), and then install the OD beta version from there. I've no idea why SD makes us modern OS owners do everything just short of sacrificing small animals to make basic functionality work, but thems the breaks.

[quote]Ok. Sorry you have such problems with, imo, a great product. Yes, there are a few bugs that they know about, and they have said they've been trying to fix them. What more do you want. Every day I check for the update we were promised was coming in November, and every day I'm disappointed that it still hasn't shown up. OD+ system tray and start menu functionality for 64-bit has now been broken for months. The length of time to resolve this issue has been very poor, and communication about the status has been worse. I would appreciate a realistic update of when we can expect this to be fixed.

OD+ does not work flawlessly on Vista 64. Specifically, two things that used to work now don't: the start menu and the system tray. In theory there will be an update at some point that adds these features again.

Yes, please give us some kind of update other than that you know there is an issue and it will be fixed... eventually. Days? Weeks? Months? Next year? Just ballpark it for us, please. This is important functionality and is the only reason I paid for Pro.
