Thanks for the review, I see you think that the game was dumbed down for the console crowd, I guess it's about total sales since the developers of Gears limited their market with too steep of system requirements. I figure I can wait for a price drop even though I was looking forward to this game. perhaps you should edit the conclusion so we know exactly how much you disliked the game?

Oh yes Daddy! preach on! The rank based awards system is alive and well in most of the Army. As a matter of fact if the Zero 5 or above with the Silver star or Higher doesn't have a Purple heart to go with it, (Or at least a CIB) I mentally downgrade it to an ARCOM.

The liberty issue was a major anger generator to me back when I was a Marine. I had spent two years as a Marine Security Guard on an Aircraft carrier and when I wasn't on duty, no one expected to see me when we were in port. This was the rule in foreign countries and the US. Cacto has it right. What he said is actually true and there is no real reason to dispute it.
