It seems that having the "Replace the Microsoft Edge new tab button" option turned on when Edge is set to use vertical tabs causes Edge to become very sluggish. The option doesn't seem to actually have an effect with vertical tabs, anyway, so there's no need to have it turned on in that case, but it should not be causing that issue. My Windows 10 version is 21H1 Build 19043.1466.
Providing a drop-down or pop-up selector for the sort order of the Planet/Ship List (as I previously described in this post: https://forums.galciv2.com/373686) would seem to be a minor change that would be a nice improvement to the UI. I just recently purchased and started playing GalCiv2 Ultimate, and one thing I have noticed that is a bit "user-unfriendly" about the user interface is the selection of sort order for the planet and ship lists. I think I counted a total of 37 different sort options for the planet list, and 26 for the ship list, and you need to repeatedly click to go from one to the other.
