Having been a Mac user in the past, and now a PC user, I've been on both sides of this issue. Until there is a benchmarking software that will run on both the Mac/PC platforms, it really is an apples/oranges argument. In my experience, there's no OS like the MacOS. OSX just widens the gap, IMO. WinXP is the best OS Microsoft has released, but it's not nearly as intuitive, powerful, or stable as OSX.
