Finding a job that makes you happier will increase the quality of your life, go to it! Amen! I totally agree. My job used to make me happy. But it is time for something new.

I go back to work tomorrow after a week's vacation. I got really used to getting out of bed near noon, drinking coffee for lunch and staying up way too late watching Conen and Adult Swim. Vacations from work are just the best. But going back to work is just the worst. I think I am allergic to my job. Actually that isn't true. I am allergic to the PEOP
I only went to the drive-in a few times. I was very little. My favorite memorie of the drive-in was when I went to see " The Muppet Movie" with my parents. What fun that was.
My oldest possesssion is the blanket I was bunddled up in just moments after I was born. It is one of those blue thermal blankets. Of course it is no longer blue. It is more gray. It is also torn up a bit from various run-ins with the vaccume cleaner and the nieghbors dog. In my possesion for 26 years.
I can see I am a little late giving you a suggestion on what books to read but I will name some anyways. "Getting Over It", "Running in Heels", "Behaving Like Adults." --All by Anna Maxted. She is a great author. One of my favorties. Her stories are funny and easy to read. They are hard to put down too, so you will finish them quickly. I love her stuff. Also try, " The God of Small Things." By Arundati Roy. Words can't describe how be
Wow. You kick ass. What a beautful post. You gave me chills. It is amazing, the feelings that arise in someone, when they realise what really matters. The untiy you speak of is a very precious thing. Thank you for sharing your possitive and strong words. My heart goes out to you and your fellow country men.
I admire the politician that is not a republican nor a democrat but, is the politician who is a human being. A real person with real views and who is out for the best interest of the american people. Like George Washington, John F. Kennedy,FDR and even the politician who has yet to be a president, or never was, Like Martin Luther King Jr. Someone with substance who speeks what they believe and is true to their word.
oh my gosh I feel like such a ninny. I did not realize that I had put "nice" in there instead of "Once". spell check has a purpose after all. . oh well. you understood what I had intended to say:)
I too was once on the coffee addiction train. But I have since ridded myself of the need to have it each and every morning. I noticed that it was the idea of having it that made me want it. I was making it and not even drinking it. I treat myself to it every nice in a while on Sunday morning. It makes it more special. Like a weekend treat. But enough of my ramblings. Congratulations raven. I know it was hard for you to do.....Bravo!<img
Your post gave me the chills. I am so happy that you had a day of laughter. I wish you a hundred more.
How creepy. Not to mention RUDE! The nerve of people. I do hope you feel better. I think shovelheat has a good idea..
That is so interesting and also very sad. Mother Nature is a powerful force. Thank you for sharing.

If no one else believes you are worthless where do you get this idea from? I do not know you personally but from the comments you have given me and from the posts you have writen, you are not worthless. At least I do not think so. Loosing jobs and failing at relationships makes you human. I hope you feel better soon:)
I think there is a reason that our bodies STOP producing eggs after a certain age. Don't you? There comes a time when one should stop trying to fool mother nature. I understand that there are women in the world that want babies. But there are also pleanty of women in the world who have babies and do not want them. That is the beauty of adoption. I am right with you on this one Dharmagrl.
Just be glad you're not standing at the trough surrounded by two 400 lb guys at the ball game staring at your junk while you're listening to their unsettling giggles...enough to make you wish you were born a woman. LMAO did that really happen? way too funny:)
I have no idea what it is like to pee as a man, as I am female. But I do imagine it must be a nice benefit when you are stuck someplace with no restroom or when you are in a public restroom that is filthy; because you can stand up to pee. You men have no idea what the inconvenience, let alone the humiliation of the “squat and shake” we girls have to endure is when we are in a situation like that. Very funny post btw, <img src="../images/smiles/lol.
1/ What is your initial thought upon hearing the news ? awwww S#$%! (a la chunk from the gooines.) 2/ Who is the first person you would contact ? If I was not with my man, him. 1/ What would you most like to get this year? Books, gift cards, apartment stuff. 2/ What would you least like to get? Any kind of Thomas Kincaid Painting or Thomas Kincaid trinket. Or one of those creepy dolls that are made to stand like it is hiding in a corner. Yuck. 3/ What's the best you have had in the past? I once was given a bed set, down comforter, pillows, duvet cover. Everything. Even those really nice
beautiful and wonderful
I am the same way. I have my thought out ones, my spur of the moment ones and then a few maybe I have had too much to drink ones. Thank goodness for word perfect. I always write my posts in there before I submit them. I am the worst at spelling. I like that you write for you. It makes an interesting and honest read.
I love this! I think that our society has really weird standards as to what women "should" look like. But I think that a lot of the time we as women buy into it. We believe it too. Even the so-called skinny girls feel the pressure to be even thinner. It boggles my mind sometimes. Thank you for writing such an insightful post.
4) Brenda Holiday - I just think she's awesome. Talented writer too. Aw thanks raven. *blushing* Right back at cha sister:)
I am a firm believer that only BAD movies should be remade. If it was a classic it should be left alone. Like the sages say “if it ain't broke don't fix it" However I recently saw Finding Neverland and Johnny Depp was fabulous. He did a really amazing performance. Him being cast as the new "Willy' will be interesting. I think that he has the capability of pulling it off. No one could ever top Gene Wilders Rendition of "Willy", that's a gi
