Industry standard is 5gb bucket for $59.99 - VZW is no more expensive than Sprint or ATT for WWAN data from a nationwide carrier. The MiFi has almost all the functionality of a WiFi NAT router (except for arbitrary port forwarding). It supports up to WPA2, has MAC filtering, and DOESN'T require running a laptop to host the WiFi connection - which is why it's better than using ICS to share the aircard. And it's the same monthly rate as the aircard, and not teribly pricy. FWIW y

“...it only looks 'erratic and incoherent' from the outside. [Obama’s] throwing every piece of the progressive/socialist pasta at the wall, and demanding that it stick.” Emphasis mine – to point out what really makes this quote. Not just that he’s trying everything in his playbook; but he’s insisting that it work, that we make it work, and that opposition is unthinkable. Bruce Schneier is a reasonably level-headed individual when it comes to most security-related issues. But, apparently, gunz r scawwy . Even in the hands of Boston’s PD (notorious for overreacting) they’re just another semiautomatic rifle. Whether the beat cops need a rifle is a question worth asking, but Schneier just panics that they’re getting “automatic weapons”. <div style="padding-bottom:

In the end, the sheer size of this country, and the differences within it, may defeat the attempts of the current US government to make the US over. It’s going to falter on two facts: individuals do not always and everywhere behave as members of the classes to which they belong, and the US is fractally diverse. On the first fact: I am relatively conservative, both financially, legally, and socially. I fit many of the stereotypes of the right-wing republican voter (this has led to some

Today’s big news is from the Ninth Circuit – Nordyke v King has been decided on appeal . (It’s readable – I recommend reading it). The amazing news is that the decision agrees that the 2nd amendment applies to the States, not just the Federal Government (it is incorporated ). Some choice quotes: This brief survey of our history reveals a right indee

OK - this workaround will NOT apply to let me return to the default login screen. I want to return my login screens to default to troubleshoot an issue with my fingerprint reader. (Want to apply the default and then uninstall LogonStudio so that I can rule out an issue with logonstudio)

I will point out at this juncture - SCOTUS declared DCs trigger lock/safe storage requirement unconsitutional on the grounds that a non-functional firearm is not a useful self-defense tool... So it's hardly surprising the NRA has supported that... Trigger lock laws are a feel-good gesture and nothing more.

At roughly 1015 hrs EDT, the Supreme Court of the United States affirmed the lower court ruling and struck down the unconstitutional ban on ownership of handguns and functional firearms in Washington DC. This decision is "the end of the beginning" for supporters of the 2nd amendment - it states that the 2nd amendment recognizes a pre-existing natural right to self-defense and that handgun ownership is a primary method to exercise that right.
The only way I've done this mission is the bee-line rush. Totally ignored building up planets (i used colony ships instead of constructors) and also took the +range modifier in the beginning.
Huh, I hadn't thought of colony ships, but that might be good, too. I can see the pro/cons of that.
Um..., You're not going to like this, but that mission you're describing isn.t the last one...
Heh, that's fine. I enjoy the campaign missions. They force me to play differently than I usually would, with a concrete goal (as opposed to build up, then squish people :) )

I'm completely stumped. I'm trying to play the last mission of the ToA Campaign, Conflagration. The problem is that you start out losing over 300bc per week thanks to the lovely, but costly fleet of Arnorian craft that you're given at the start. I've tried just waiting it out, hoping my population grows enough. I snagged two economic treaties, etc, but I just get deeper & deeper in debt, can't build anything, etc. I tried buying outright a few constructs and transports, and that sort of

Today Alan Gura et al. will be responding to Washington DC's petition to overturn the lower court decision that DC's ban on functional firearms and posession of handguns is an unreasonable infringement on the individual right to keep and bear arms recognized in the Second Amendment of the US Constitution under a Strict Scrutiny Standard of Review. I can't be there, all I can do is pray that the justices can read and parse plain english.
