make sure bios settings for the sata ports are ahci and not ide.
once you've finished mine, i expect it to be personally delivered asap. remember, i don't use thermaltake parts. top tier intel (cpu), corsair, samsung, lian-li, asus, amd/ati (video) only. i'll do the cabling, though.

I've read articles listing changes to the OS included in the next major update to Windows 8 and it seems at least one change mimics a feature of ModernMix, namely pinning Modern (Metro) apps on the desktop taskbar. Once this major update is released next month, will ModernMix and the update work together nicely or will ModernMix need to be uninstalled?

even though i've never built a rig using that case, i have looked at it a few times while in fry's. it really isn't a bad looking case at all. it's just a thermaltake porduct. the original concept of the case was designed with help from BMW. i don't go for the flash and bling style cases. i guess i'm a bit like paul (jafo) when it comes to cases. my lian-li has a blue ring on the front panel but it's pretty subtle. actually, i think i suggested lian-li cases and th

i like everything except the case, starkers. you know how i am about anything thermaltake. :) i agree with you about antec and fractal. they're all crap in my opinion. put those innards in a lian-li or upscale corsair and you're golden. anywho, congrats on the new rig, dude. (we need a high-five symbol)
Corsair or Samsung. I have a Samsung840 pro drive now and it's fantastic. The Corsair drives I had before were great also and their customer service is second to none. I've yet to call Samsung about anything so I can't comment on theirs. BTW, there were no issues with a Corsair drive when I called them. That call was to determine what drive they suggested I purchase when I was completely miffed with OCZ about the Vortex drive I was using at the time. OCZ customer service is horrib
i have the Folder app. it works like a champ. as for android already doing it, wp will too with the Black update. i doubt android did it at the beginning of its existence either. i am completely happy with WP and my 920. when my contract expires in december 2014, i'll get a new phone with a larger screen. an example would be the 1520. what a great phone! my ex has one and my son-in-law is considering one, also.

i agree!! the 920 is a great phone. regarding battery life; originally, it sucked. after the gdr2 update it has been superb. i currently have the ms gdr3 update installed (without the nokia black update) and the battery life has been better than great. i liked my iphones but this 920 has been my favorite phone yet.

hey starkers! i thoroughly enjoy my 2520. it isn't wifi only since those animals don't exist. i sold my surface pro to a guy my daughter works with. she works in the IT department for a local school corporation but i'm not sure if he does or is a teacher. anyway, the 2520 is a superb device. i use it 10 times as often as i do my ipad air. the pnly thing i don't like about it is the fact it has only 32 gigs of storage onboard. i know i increased that by buying a 64 gig sd card
i've seen kid rock 3 times and won't bother to go again. the first two times were great but the last time was horrible. granted most people there enjoyed the show but after 2 1/2 hours of his rap/hip-hop crap we left. the first two times we saw him he did mostly his later stuff but threw in a few of the hip-hop songs. on one occasion, one or two songs were with rev run of run dmc (skynyrd was the opening act that night and they sucked. i had seen them before as the headliner and they

i forgot to say the one thing i dislike about the 1520 is the fact it doesn't have built in wireless charging. i realize you can get a cover that remedies that but i'd rather it be built in like it is on the 920. on a side note, i ordered a 2520 tablet thru at&t today. i was told i'll have it in hand on the 22nd of november.

i messed around with one in the local at&t store today. i went in there to ask about the 2520. they have a couple (or more) in the back but couldn't allow me to see one yet :( . anyway, the 1520 they have on display is yellow. unlike the yellow 920, the 1520 has a matte finish which i like better than the glossy. compared to my 920, the 1520 is HUGE and FAST. is it too big? nah, not really. it'll fit in my pocket easily. the most impressive things about it are the speed the
my daughter is going to buy the new ipad mini when it's released and we'll trade. she really likes the ipad air and i think i'll be happy with the mini. she will have a surface 2 pro (or whatever it's called now) and the ipad air. hopefully, she'll be set for a couple years or so.
Mine was delivered yesterday. So far, I'd say it's a worthwhile investment. I can't say I'll phase out my Surface Pro but I do like the iPad Air. Each has its advantages, I guess. The Surface Pro is more to my liking, though.
I ordered one from Apple's site yesterday. I don't know if it'll be my primary tablet instead of my Surface Pro but I'm sure I'll get some use out of it. I've grown used to my WP8 phone and Surface so using an Apple product again may cause a shock to my system.
