The rain blew in from the east. It was a cold rain, almost snow, not quite, but a slush of sorts. The night was dark as well, only a quarter moon in the sky, but the candy cane street lights led the way. The lonelieness of the the night really crept into John's bones. The bar had closed hours ago, and with nowhere to go, he thought to himself, "The streets

I just got off work, am sick, and life just seems to suck. My plans for tonite, pop some more cold medicine, take a long, hot bath, and hit the pillow early. To anyone else not feeling w

Another teacher that focuses on actually pounding answers to kids. It doen'st help. It simply becomes routine. When will they learn, the teacher that is, that kids can't learn by learning what they teach. A teacher is simply a tool to help along the kids figuring things out by themselves. Thats what I believe anyway. Shit!....I hated school. You'll be a great teacher though. Love ya, Rat.

How ever did you come up with the concept for the layout of this poem? At first, I was simply confused. Then I put two and two together, the title and the layout, and it is pure genius. I absolutely love it! Clever as all can be. Damn....keep it coming man, keep it coming. -Rat

The evening was cold, but the sky was clear. I tossed on my favorite cowbow hat, tied a scarf around my neck, buttoned three times on my coat, and headed down the road. The air was crisp, but it was refreshing. It was a comforting cold. The kind you miss nowand then. The mornings you remember as a child, waking up and peering out the window as the first snow

Seems as if the anxiety of the whole ordeal may be melting away already on day two. I hope so. Hell, if I could go back, you would definetly be a teacher I would enjoy. I may be partial, but hey, thats just the way the cookie crumbles.

Funny. Hard for me as a liberal to take, but quite hilarious. It is funny how the stereotypes of the two parties are so extreme. the lefties, rich and snobby, the righties, drunk on budweiser and woozy from Nascar fumes. Tell your buddy, good article.

“I wonder what will be of me in a year,” He asked gently to the lady seated next to him at the bar. “What was that sir?” “I simply wonder where I will be in a year,” he replied, while slightly staring off into space, “Don’t you ever wonder? I mean, I think about where I have been, what I’ve seen, the people I’ve met, the people I’ve lost, and it
