To quote from an old song -- "I dig it, I really dig it..."

How do you annoy an admin? Nah, seriously, don't wanna = just getting cheered up by finding a personal reply -- thanx Danny...
Thanx Danny, I'm not really sure what I'm sposed 2 do with a blog anyway = I've read a few, commented/replied on fewer, & they seem 2b a mix of "daily diaries" and "grumbles/rants" -- dunno bout "daily", but "diary" & "grumble/rant" I can probly manage...!!
Yesterday afternoon I found out that the garage I've been paying rent on for 15 months, which had nothing of value in it, got broken into WEEKS ago & has been used as a trash-dump by everyone living near it ever since. I don't understand why this is so distressing to me: I hadn't visited it for the last FIVE months; the stuff "stolen" consisted mainly of odd scrap
I was just about to leave the site after reading a few threads and admitting in a reply to myself that I'd forgotten how to do anything but "comment" ... and then I saw "creat" button: how blind or how dumb am I? Not that I've got anything worthwhile to say...
Lucky you, Samantha -- but I guess I'd've probably grown used to a name with usable variants, the variants of mine were no less twirly-girly than the full shebang so when I hit forty and STILL hated it, I gave myself the birthday gift of a name I liked better. Now the only people allowed to still use the old name are the ones who are so senile that they just as often call me by my sister's name or my mother's name instead...
Starting this was stupid = I never remember to come here, just go to my old bulletinboard to connect with old pals there -- and now I AM here, I've forgotten how to post a new blog... I may not be back... Wonder how long you have to neglect a blogsite for it to forget you like email sites forget you and uncredited mobile phone networks forget you?
Gf, no comment - it's the "parent" part I relate to... I remarked to my daughter recently how odd it is her husband seems to like "the mother-in-law" (me) better than he likes his own mother = ma-in-laws ain't sposed to be your best pals... and she said... "ALL my boyfriends got on better with you than they did with their own mothers..."
Well, I wanted to "rate" this, but my machine threw a GPF when I clicked "submit", so I'll comment instead -- are you, or would you like to be, a Teacher of English/Writing? What you've said is about what my college tutor took a whole term to say...
Yip, so far I'm with you 100%. Most of the time my grandkids (& my kids before them) only need one of "Ma's Black Looks" for control, but once in a while the palm of the hand on the seat of the pants is the only way to go. Kiddies should look like kiddies, not like porn stars. ...and they should sing "Twinkle twinkle little star" before they learn Pop Crap !
New to this site, so dunno if this is just a poem or a real event - seems harsh to say so, but I hope it's the latter = purely because it made me "feel for" the departed person.
A'n't got nowt lying loose in my head just now, will post when I have...
