Are you sure you didn't have "neutral" rebels in your systems? They will kill friendly envoys belonging to other players. (hopefully this will get changed eventually)

Superweapons are still very expensive (and highly fragile). It's not particulary difficult to send in suicide squads to kill them, but the free resources the AI get is what ruins the balance i think. So I think the solution should be to alter the AI to not spend that much resouces on them. Basically, don't nerf the novalith in multiplayer because the AI builds them for free...

Personally, I feel like the Titans are too much of a frigate/cruiser killer. I'd prefer if they were kept as a strict anticap weapon, with cruisers/frigates being it's counter. A balanced fleet should have been either: 1. A larger amount of caps with no titan. (titan would hinder your xp progress to much) 2. Or a larger amount of cruisers/frigates with titan support I don't like how you basically have to own a titan to counter another titan. Especia
Having participated in other steam betas I would say yes. On release, the client "Rebellion Beta" will be deactivated/moved to steam tools and you get access to a new client instead. Basically the beta and full release become seperate games. You keep the achievements on the beta client, but have to redo them on the release client. But this is just a calculated guess on my end.
Vasari Marauder is my favorite. I generally prefer faster moving cruiser/frigate groups.
