Ha! No problems, Frogboy. Gives me more time to play with Entrenchment which I just downloaded yesterday (AI seems smarter, and my gravity wells are littered with mines!). Seems like you could have come in here and said "yay, the new expansion will be out in late summer" and you probably would have gotten tons of responses to the tune of "sweet fennel!" and "kudos!". ;)
Hello folks. :) I'm a new (and completely satisfied) user of Sins of a Solar Empire, so maybe this question is old-hat, but is it against the Sins ethos to request some campaigns in a future expansion? Is this something that the devs are interested in? Or something that the player-base is interested in? Is this something that is on the radar? Personally, one of the things that drew me to this game was the cryptic story of the Vasari flight from their homeworl
I play the Advent for a variety of reasons...pretty much all having nothing to do with the mechanics of the game. One, when I first read the lore, they reminded me of the Ousters from the Hyperion Cantos (a 4 book sci-fi series by Dan Simmons...check them out, you won't be disappointed) and I liked those guys. Two, their ships look very cool and so I'm gonna spend a lot of time looking at them, so I might as well like looking at them. Three, the voices are a bit les

It has only been a week of playing after all. I will get Entrenchment, give that a week, then try out online. Only prob is how many other players are in my time zone, or close to it?? Will have to check. I'm gu
Is there even an ETA for it yet? Or are they planning on releasing them yearly or something like that?

If people are assholes to you for bein new, dont let it discourage you, please.
Online play scares me at this point. :) I'm not that great at Sins (but it's fun as hell...I sit here at work thinking of strats I want to try out when I get home and play in the evening)
We've got some good suggestions here for the "money is no object, all cap ships present" situation. Any suggestions for early game combos where one might be limited to 3 or 4 cap ships?
This seems awfully out of date to be stickied. Doesn't the Dark Fleet / RA cost money now? I saw a bunch of other inconsistiencies as well. Maybe update for entrenchment too?
Was wondering about this as well. Seems the OP is about a year old now, but there are no replay links in the post. I'd be interested in seeing the replays, if they're floating around somewhere on
Just picked up this game yesterday, and i gotta say...WOW! What a beautiful game. I really should have bought this last year when I first heard about it, but I'm really happy to be here now. Good work, Ironclad! :D So, yeah, I just started yesterday. I did the tutorials, and I started a small 1v1 single player game, playing as the Advent. I think I'm coming along, but there is so so much going on that I feel a bit overwhelmed. Are there any good...I
