Hello all, my first post for Sins :) --I Had this problem also. I find that when you change your graphics settings for some reason it made my microphone recording volume go up and cause the distortion. Don't know if this is why you guys are haveing a problem, but I just put the microphone playback back to zero and it removed the distortion!!!
