Reverse engineering a good skin is the best way to learn; Just remember not to upoad anyone elses pixels!
Same here and my clock is just fine....
The stats are very interesting.. It surprises me to find out that I am pretty high on the DX and WB list even though I haven't released a completly new skin in quite some time....
No, In each section the top of the page will have a small description of the program required to use the stuff and a link to it's website.
Thanks -armonia-
that's what were all here for. Except for me and Jafo ^. We're just here to clog up the system with drab Grayscale stuff
/me misses stats..
Once you have WindowBlinds installed download the skin again and it should install it's self into Windowblinds.... Then just choose the skin forom the skin list..
One that I made a few days ago....
/me gives in and finally posts my boring as could be desktop.....
If you cannot purchase I think it best to use the shareware. If I remember correctly it skinz most everything and doesn't have a time limit...
Strike that last comment.. ON XP all WB skins will work; Skinz not designed for XP will skin everything except the Taskbar and start panel
BTW on XP WB skins will work fine they just wont skin the taskbar... or start panel...
[email protected] News.stardock.com send or post your specifics there your post above is too vague to help much With WB you right click on the desktop and select properties then select the appearance tab.Tben choose your skin from the Windows and buttons Dropdown box. Besure that any skin that you have downloaded is designed for use with WB on XP as indiicated on Wincustomize with the windows logo and Win XP support above the skin description..
If this is version .1 I can't imagine verison 1.0 It's excelent already.. (Ok so don't put too much stock in the above statement I've only been using it for about ten minutes..)
XP Sp1 has been working fine for the last 24hrs and I was able to get rid of the MSN junk. It only took about 28 minutes to download.....
I have been running WB constantly since version 1.3 on NT,2000 and XP and it works excellent... Why don't you go to news.stardock.com in your news reader and post your problems with wb there. Stardock developers go through the news groups, and can help with your specific problems..
