I used Norton for years. It remains the best for the masses. However I began to have trouble with it* and now use both AVG and Avast. I use the online scan from Panda as backup. *Uninstalling Norton System Works is a major b*tch. (Got to know the registry intimately.) After FIVE uninstall/re-install sessions, I said screw it. Besides, by then the retail CD had cracked. GRRR
