Thanks for the replies. I did turn down the bump and it seemed to make a difference. But, that would suggest the lag is the result of my vcard capacity (would it not?) which I find a little upsetting considering what I paid for that damned thing lol. Anyhow, I also have the feeling it could be a cpu thing...time for a new case lol. Thanks again. E

I am not a pc guru i'm afraid...familiar with some of the terminology and stuff...the PC I have is one a friend helped me build and I thought it was pretty good so I was awfully surprised when I encountered lag during a sizable battle and I'm not sure where it was coming from. There were probably only about 200, maybe a bit more, ships (which seems kinda small compared to what some of what I'm reading here). Not sure if it is lag because of my cpu or because of my vid

Please let this come soon... Also, if it looks as good as it does in the video, then I can't imagine playing a mod that doesn't have this incorporated. I'm not completely selfish though considering the game plays so well on such a variety of system specs, but a total newb when it comes to using mods: If there was an easy way to combine this with other mods, that would be win.

Sorry for the xpost...i put the original in the wrong forum. Anyhow, is there a way to name fleets? I know how to do it for planets and caps. My organization isn't the greatest and it would help me keep track of things. Thanks in advance.
