If thy neighbor offendeth thee, give his child a drum....
docster
I also shun labeling here, a behavior partially derived from years on Fidonet. Personally, I've been laboring under the connotation of "troll" as a malevolent, dwarfish type who lived under a bridge. I've not ascertained that we've many bridge-dwellers here 'bouts.... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/s
Personally, I never submit nor pay attention to ratings....
Everything's back up to snuff for me here. Thanks a bunch for all the rebuilding work, T-Man. Kindly pass along thanks to your cohorts, also, eh?
I still can't see WC Browser library details, and've tried all the SOPs noted above (save for reinstall)...
Well, thanks muchly for your rebuilding....
Today is a good day to translate....
"Post mortem"? You mean that, so soon after release, you've killed the game off?
Thanks for the reminder, Jafo. I haven't been to this site for seeming ages....http://kissthisguy.com
Oh, and I defrag entire system 'bout twice a week....
Dual-knob Etch-a-Sketch. Shaken, not stirred....
Been using Golden Bow's Vopt for years http://www.vopt.com Now using VoptXP 7.13. Nice 'n' fast. Can defrag paging files & MFT. Very configurable. I've got it set up to restart my machine with a minimal driver set, batch-defrag all partitions, then reboot. Love it....
Yeah, craeonics. Amusing. And amazing. And here I'd thought Yoda'd taught us so much about word order....
Doesn't seem to be an English version on the site....
It doesn't TAKE all kinds, we just HAVE all kinds
Have putzed around with a variety of shell replacements over the years. Had delightful results paring down Win98SE's Explorer with 98Lite and am eagerly awaiting release of XPLite at http://www.litepc.com/
I rarely vote but occasionally comment on skins that strike me as fantastic. One of my probs is that I can't seem to enter comments via SkinBrowser. Have to fire up a regular ol' web browser. *shrugs* Sumpin' I'm workin' through with Stardock.
BINGO! Thanks muchly for the cross-referencing scenario, Karma. Worked like a charm....
Why, Brad! Looks almost as if you're located on Farmington!
Yeah, Chris. I can certainly relate to that . But shallow thoughts can still legitimately be considered "thoughts," righto?
Absolutely no offense taken here, Mike. I know your comment wasn't directed at me personally. If I =HAD= been offended, I'd've certainly appreciated your apology. *winks* I commend you for delaying your response to one of the above comments till today. Shows respectable anger management skills. *smiles* I was merely addressing how generalizations like "some people just want everything for free" tend to alienate folks. I've known a lot of freeloaders in my life, but don't recall ANY
MikeB314, I agree with your stance on subscriptions, but, before this thread devolves into a verbal charbroiler, ask that we all tone down exaggerative, inflammatory statements like, "Man, some people just want everything for free." Thanks....
Ande, re: your statement, "I agree with docster" : I'd only asked Brad a couple of questions & thus didn't write anything that someone could possibly "agree" with. *shrugs* As for me, I'm interested in what Brad has planned for the WinCustomize subscription package, and will probably subscribe to the site. Hell, I figure I owe Brad alot for his unflagging support, over the years, of OS/2, a REAL operating system. Brad, I'm particularly interested in what you mean by a WinCustomiz
And how does one become a "premium subscriber" of WinCustomize, Brad? As a registered Object Desktop user - let alone being a Stardock neighbor here in Ann Arbor *lol* - will the subscription be part of the OD registration package?
