I want to try a mod for Vanilla Sins, but I've brought Entrenchment , how do I revert to the unentranched version of Sins, or is this not possible?

In short, yes. There is even a high quality video floating round the forum somewhere of just this. Might need to download the large version (not gametrailers) to see it properly selected in the menu though.
