Winter here in new england, in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

We here in new england since xmas, 59" of snow, and now a deep freeze, single digits for highs tomorrow and tuesday, and doing a lot of pc time, WC. we just need the winter over, fuel bills are considered profanity LOL

You guys sure are taking a beating down there, the weather has been strange for a year or so here in new england, this past spring we were inundated with floods, now 2 weeks ago we get 20 inches of snow, and last night we got 23" of snow, now i think this is enough proof that global warming is going on, even though some will dispute it (George W Bush) i have always looked at new england as one of the more stable places in the US for naturally occuring events, we dont have earthquakes to speak

Well my brother made it out of surgery just great, was diagnosed with colon cancer very recently, had the surgery on monday, and the prognosis is excellent, couldnt ask for a better present, unfortunately sometimes we take our health for granted even with a wife that is severly disabled with MS, still take it for granted, go figure, and idont have to bring up health here, it seems a lot of us on WC have ourselves or family members with health issues, so i know when i post here there is a lot

itunes can be a bugger, i have read numerous stories about it doing strange things, this isnt the solution, but once you mentioned itunes, me personally i would remove itunes completely with no evidence of it existing (if thats possible) then i would install impulse, download the whole program not just the installer, and i believe there are better apps to replace itunes, and they are free, cant remember the names but itunes has a nasty reputation, maybe its the apple-MS thing , who knows but

my old xp machine had trouble with WB too, older, less resources, and cpu power, sometimes i have found that you have to make a sacrifice to appearance, dont think this answers your question at all, but it does use resources, anything that starts when windows does uses resources,

I am not really a video game player per se, but when i got my xbox and presently have all the Halo's and of course Maddens, anyways Halo is a spectacular game, even if your not a gamer this will get you hooked, yeah it probably took me 3-4 times as long to finish it than say a 15 year old gamer LOL, but its just plain ol fun and some thinking involved, i tend to rant but i will stop here
