It's actually really easy to whip up a random map with out pirates, as the Pirate Base is just a planet type. Just go into the map maker interface, set how many players you want, and remove the PirateBase planet (it's going to be the first planet group, I believe) and save that as a map called "RandomNoPirate" or something. Just tweak from there, as desired. Easy.

I think I must be blind, I'm not seeing anything except for the v1.01 update. Where am I suppoed to be? When I click the in-game update button this is where it takes me. Am I missing a tab or something?

Thanks for all the quick replys, I just played a game with no problems, and I hadn't run into this before either, so I'm thinking it was what Blair indicated, which only happened rarely. I hadn't had any problem playing anything else, and until recently I'd been playing NWN Mask of the Betrayer, BioShock, Crysis, and Gears of War on and off for a month with the exact same drivers/set up with no problems, so I don't think it's the rig. It's probably the long since resolved freeze bugs
Not sure if this is the place to report this, but I played two separate games last night and both games froze up on me after about half an hour of play. And I mean FROZEN, my entire PC became unresponsive and I had to power it off the hard way. I'm running an ASUS M2N mobo w/ AM2 64 x2 4600, 2GB DDR800 RAM, 8800 GTX, and a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 card. I didn't seen any events in the Event Log, so I'm presuming the problem was with the game specifically, but I wasn't sure if there wa
