That's a pretty good idea. I just tried it -- I fixed the taskbar settings, saved the theme, and rebooted. Unfortunately, it didn't work.

Yes, that works for me, too, but it seems that I have change those settings everytime I start the computer. It's quite a pain.
Okay, I got it to work. I missed "keep taskbar on top of other windows" last time. Also found out that the show/hide taskbar docklet doesn't change those taskbar settings, so doesn't cause the problem. Using it, however, is more of a pain than is just changing the taskbar settings each time. There's got to be a way to stop OD+ from messing this up.
I couldn't agree more. This issue really bothers me a lot. I do agree that the cause likely involves OD+ putting the taskbar on autohide before hiding it altogether. However, turning autohide back off, as eyezblinkin suggests, doesn't work for me. I'd like to find a way to stop the program from turning autohide on in the first place.
