We should note that you have to be logged in and have a character created prior to joining an empire

Rik Flor - We've been unable to reproduce the Processing Data... freeze with Firefox 1.5.0.1. However, I'll keep a close eye on it. Thanks for letting us know.
It very well could be. We'll take an in depth look at the registration issue possibility. That's exactly the kind of extended information I was looking for Are you mystic000 and Thanaptosis (one in the same)? Im getting befuddled!
Well you certainly don't own Empire #54, which is the 'Pirates of the Forgotten Butte' - However, you do own Empire #53 'Player2Player' http://metaverse.galciv2.com/index.aspx?g=empire&id=53 Let's get some more information from you on exactly what happened, exactly step by step what you did and what you saw. mayito8888 - As I said before in another thread, that was addressed. You'll have to wait for the udpate which fixes that. Please start a new thread in the Council to get further information. Stevious - I don't find the fact that you're running a browser on an OS the game does not run on irrelevent at all. The two names you referenced were also experiencing issues with Opera, not Firefox. Until a decision is made otherwise, we will not be addressing site issues experienced on other ope
If you were having metaverse issues; whereby the 'Edit My Characters' page was showing you characters that did not belong to your account, please close your browser, open the metaverse and check out that page again
We're looking into the issues with Opera. However, it appears to be a built-in security issue with Opera. (Looking into the Javascript Console in Opera will reveal the exact error if you're curious) We are officially supporting IE and Firefox at the moment. Please use IE or Firefox for the metaverse.
Well there's no way that I'm going to be debugging a browser issue while you're running the browser on an OS that the game doesnt even support. That's just crazy talk. I haven't yet seen anyone report 'Processing Data' issues with firefox; The reports I see here in this thread are for Opera. Thanks for the extended information; your post is a good model for everyone to follow.
People - Please provide us with some data on where the error(s) you are seeing are ocurring. A URL or page description would be very helpful. If you do not include information then we have no way of helping you. The metaverse was designed to work with IE and Firefox. We're doing our best to get it to work with Opera's quirks as well. Additionally, please avoid 'same here' responses
As of right now the plan is to clear all game data. If you created characters or empires, or joined an empire, that data will remain intact. I will post an update on this thread if this is to change. I've also forwarded the concerns and questions over the serial numbers to the proper guy. Thanks
wangs0r - clear all cookies from sdcentral.*, stardock.com, and galciv2.com and retry please.
When I click on the metaverse logo to the left, it takes me first back to this tread, if I click again then it takes me to the metaverse. Any ideas why? Indeed. This is part of a new login system that was implemented. It's a minor inconvenience at present and will be addressed. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF3
Hello, I have sent you an email. Please check that and reply so that I can help you further. Thanks
I have taken a ride in the roo's pouch, and it was glorious.
Due the holidays the report will return this coming Monday.
Boo on misinformation! The .NET 1.1, 2.0 download is not 30mb. 1.1 was 20mb and 2.0 is now 24mb. I'll sure be looking forward to more integration of .NET.
Weekly Widget Report for December 11th - December 18th 2005 Kapsules Mr. Fruit 1.0.0 Make your desktop fruity (in a good way). <A href="http://www.widgetfo
Recently I recieved permission from the site administrators to compile and make a weekly post regarding new widgets each week for Kapsules. It was suggested however, that users here (and elsewhere) might take more interest if this report of sorts was for every widget enabling application out there. I feel that this is a great way to highlight each program and get the word out on new widgets for each. Afterall, the widgets really make the app. Please feel free to lend your suggestions,
Well you have to activate via an email sent to you if you register. There are a poopton of support options on the site, it's up to you to use them.
Recently the widgets archive for Kapsules underwent a complete redesign and rewrite. Affectionately called the 'Widget Forge' for some time, the archive was moved off of the kwidgets.com domain and into it's new home www.widgetforge.com . The new WidgetForge boasts a snappy new look and user experien
Kapsules is very similar to Konfabulator except that rather than relying solely on Javascript for creating widgets, it is a .NET based program which means users can create their widgets using any .NET supported language This really isnt entirely true. Kapsules supports widgets in JScript.NET and VB.NET languages at the moment. Thats just the <
Version 0.9.9 is a major milestone release of Kapsules. Kapsules has seen a lot of changes since the last version. The Widget Settings, Window and main Configuration dialogs were completely redesigned and new controls were added to make changing settings a breeze. Special attention was paid to widget developers and nearly every request from developers for new widget capabilities and features were implemented. Several widget-authoring aspects were completely redone from the ground up. Once
