Gravity moves at the SoL so at a future time it could be possible to harness the gravity of a mini or micro blackhole to use for propulsion. But anyway the game setup using a 2.5D fits very well for this style of game. I am use to both 2D (rules of engagement, Starfleet Command) and 3D (Nexus: the Jupiter incident) style of gameplay and as much as I love the 3D in Nexus I find this style to fit perfectly.

Reinstall Punkbuster.
I posted this elsewhere but seeing that some may have an issue I thought I would reproduce it here. It also includes a wonderful website at the bottom for step by step for each type of router. I hope this helps. It has come to my attention that some people may not be familiar with opening ports. With a little liberalism with plagiarism and a sprinkling of cuts and pastes this should help those with opening ports. See the readme file for the exact ports that need to be o
Well, I got mine last week. Maybe email and they can give you specific information as to when shipped and such.
Slide bar for pirate frequency ranging from random to every 30 minutes or so. Maybe a tweaking of pirate types instead of fleet taking areas but more along the lines of pirates raiding colonies, transports and stations to the highly dangerous types that do amass fleets and take over systems.
I have had everything enabled including bloom on my Geforce 8800 since day one with no problems at all. This is on a Vista 64bit system though, I wonder if all you guys having problems are on 32bit systems?
8800GT with Vista 64 and 4gigs memory and crash issue. Lowered everything to High and it runs fine.
Setting to high (not highest) straight across the board worked. No more crashes ATM. There is a big noticeable difference between to two settings and I hope it is addressed shortly for Vista 64 users.
Thanks for the heads up. I was just about to hunker down and see what I could do to keep from getting the crash. *fingers crossed* But I really like the bloom effect.
Very well done!!
Most of these issues have been corrected for Allies. Overall this is a much better game.
Sins crashed on me today but I had also maxed out everything so that may have something to do with it. I posted the error reported by Vista in another thread. I hope the devs can take a look at it if it is helpful. Other than that Pacific Storm: Allies crashed when I disabled Intro. Got everything back and it played fine but I hear that call of Juarez and World in Conflict do the same if intro is disabled. Vista SP1 is supposed to be coming soon and I hope it addresses these issues.
Checking my problems report and solution I see this. I have no modding skills at all but if there is anything I can help with...
Too late :)
right now it is up in the air. CBS is waiting to see what kind of ratings it gets.
Milo (the dev) use to have chats at the Avault forum. Real nice guy and the game is pretty good.
