My Object Desktop Subscription expired on the fourth, and I formatted my computer after that. I have been trying to reinstall WindowsBlinds but it keeps telling me to renew my subscription. I was under the impression that my purchase secured the software AND UPDATES for the year, and now that my subscription is over I am still entitled to the last update of the software I paid $60 for last year. Can someone please help me with my situation? I would lik

I was using OSX Leopard Proto v1.5 by Davidthedestroyer (DeviantArt). I tried what da_zman20 suggested, and it worked for every skin EXCEPT this one. So I deduced that it was not a deskscapes problem but a particular skin problem. I just switched my theme to the Snow Leopard one and tried it. I just don't know why that one skin doesn't work.

I am having a problem with my Deskscapes. I am running version 2.50.067 on my Windows Vista Ultimate x64 computer. I am currently using Objectbar, ObjectDock Plus, IconPackager, and WindowsBlinds to customize my desktop. I just bought the snow falling dream, but when I installed the FULL copy of Deskscapes it keeps giving me the error "The Desktop Window Manager is not running, DeskScape requires the Desktop Window Manager (uxsms) service to be running to function. As a mid-range to power user, and an unquestionable devotee to AMD processors, what benefits can I expect from using an ATI graphics card along side my AMD processor rather than that of an Nvidia or Intel base, if there are any benefits to be had? Question #2 (if this is allowed): I enjoy participating in open source driver projects (such as OmegaDrivers), and I was disappointed in your company's choice a few years ago to discontinue allowing them to write drivers for your chipsets. As a resu

I noticed that Cairo Shell is using Windows Blinds...and I believe it is the Vienna theme as a "showcase" of Cairo. You can clearly see the WBVista and Vistasrv processes running in the taskmanager. There is no credit posted for it either. This is not a post accusing anyone. I merely found this a little odd that there was no credit given to Vstyler (the author of Vienna)

I don't understand the complaining that old hardware won't run Vista. Any Mac user will tell you that hardware limits the ability to update the OS. That is why Leopard does not run on a little G3 Mac. There are going to be costs associated with a new OS. If you don't want to update your hardware, then by all means don't update the Software. Unless the businesses NEED Vista (for some unknown reason...seeing as it offers little more that cannot be found in other 3rd party software) they

I decided to be a good boy and actually buy Object Desktop. Until then, I had been using some old version. This new version is a pain though. I am trying to use Object Bar, but I am unable to get some of the objects to aligns to the right hand side of the screen. The previous version I used to use aligned the objects automatically, but the new ones don't. I have tried a number of Leopard Object Bar skins, but none of them will align to the right hand side. Any ideas?

There was not, however I discovered the problem. I looked at the properties in the bar after it popped up and I found no hot key assigned. However, when I searched through random folders in the properties of the skin, I found a folder called "F10" (DUH!). I deleted it and the bar has yet to return. Huzzah!

I am using Media Center for Vista, and recently installed Objectbar. The problem is, my Remote for MCE's volume control uses the shortcut F10, but everytime I press volume up on my remote it brings up a dialog box in Objectbar, interrupting my TV show. How do I disable the F10 shortcut in Object Bar?

Ok, after messing around I seem to have answered my own question. Solution: -Right Click on your bar, go to properties -In the menu on the left hand side (the one with all the names of the different bars involved), click on the one that is named your dock (for me it was the one called Mac OSX 10.3) -Then click on the tab that says "Extra Options" -Put a checkmark in Always on Top It should make the Objectbar icon disappear from the ObjectDock's bar.

I have been a long time user of Objectdock, and recently set about trying Objectbar. The problem is that I use Objectdock to show my active programs, but Objectbar's icon is also showing on my main dock now too. The objectbar icon is showing on my dock because I have enabled the dock to show the active programs. However, I do not want Objectbar's icon on my dock. Is there a way to either disable ONE PROGRAM from appearing on my dock, or enable Objectbar to hide itself in
