Whenever I make a skin in skinstudio and change the buttons, they go invisible. They still work though. How do I stop This?

Mabye I didn't explain that too well. Lets try it again. The sounds tabs of the sound control applet. It has several times when the computer can make a sound. Asterisks, critical batterys, and closing of programs, for example. Is there any program out there that gives you more of these events, like Mac's Eject event or Ubuntulinux's selectcheckbox sound event. Before you start flaming me, I mean a program that gives windows extra sound events. Cause "I WANT MY PC TO BURP WHEN A DISK COMES OUT ". I've been looking, but haven't found any. Can Anyone Help??
