I don't see what's wrong with his font size.

When we get the Vasari in, and can *destroy planets* I'm going to expect an apology from you.
Basically you need to start drawing lines across the map and try to get into a position where you've got a much better income than him/them. You need to get just as dug in as him, and either wait for him to toss his fleet away trying to attack you or start building disposable fleets to suicide into his defenses before you bring your main fleet in. I could be wrong, though, since I usually don't play against people.
TEC are like the Terran in Starcraft. They've got some flavor, but it's not as spicy as Protoss (Advent) or Zerg (Vasari). I want to load my plate up with spice!
I've got a Q6600, 8 gigs of RAM, and the game is installed on a RAID-0 of two 10k RPM Raptors, and a GTX 260. I experience a large amount of slowdown when there are a lot of units on the map. It got to the point on a large random map that I just quit the game, since any commands I was issuing were taking up to a minute to register. When I quit that game (and when I try to exit out of a completed game on any size map) the game usually freezes
I've been playing all weekend and I've had iTunes in the background, going through a bunch of podcasts... What, specifically, is the problem? Is there crashing, an error message, or what?
Did you guys use paypal? Try checking the junk email folder in the email you used to set up paypal if so.
Thinly veiled curse words are still curses, and, while I don't believe anyone should be punished for using them, the community should regulate itself and not take advantage of the policy. If every other word in BSG was frak, it would lose its magic. A lot like that episode of South Park where they set a record for saying a specific word a number of times...
I did. The auto-response says it'll take two days for someone to help me AND that they're closed on the weekends. Awesome.
tl;dr
It could be nanomachines quite easily. Haven't you heard of "Grey goo"? Tell a nanomachine to reproduce no matter what and eventually everything will be consumed and turned into more nanos. It's not as simple as "tell it to sit and it sits." I hope English is your third of fourth language.
Mine's not there. I restarted Impulse and everything.

TheMystic:
tl;dr
This IS the game to sit around and play little games like that. Any game with alliances and diplomacy is the game to sit around and play little games like that. You didn't enjoy it because you received the beat-down. But if he was relaying the other team's information to YOU, you'd be loling as your fleet destroyed the other team's home planets. And if you're noting the names of people who play the game for FUN and plan on never
"bringing out this mod might ruing the game for the non-turtlers, since all the turtle players wil only hostthis mod" There's a simple solution to the problem of you not wanting to play this mod: DON'T PLAY IT. There are tons of mods being made, and they're not that difficult to make. If you don't like this one, find one you like instead of just knocking this one constantly. I almost never play TEC and I love this mod. It's pretty much the only mod I play with.
235, you seem to enjoy attacking his ideas, but I don't see you throwing out any good ones of your own. If you don't like this mod nobody is making you play using it, but I'm looking forward to it.
I figure that if we have anti-missile guns in our current-day fleet (Aegis combat system) why can't the fleets in Sins have anti-missile guns? Throw tons of bullets at a ton of missiles and you're going to stop SOME of 'em.
I use trainers because I enjoy winning. I max my crystal, metal and credits, get instant upgrades, and an insane cap on my planet structures. I still play 10 hour games, because once I have a safe defense established I get to take my time dismantling the enemy.
I'm a CheatHappens member (lifetime membership was something like $15) and that membership is until either I or the website die. And you can also download any trainer they release about 2 months before the general public can. We also get special "members only" trainers like for Warhammer 40k: Dark Crusade. This sounds like a CheatHappens ad, but it's true. They tend to release game trainer updated the day of a patch release. And most of the people who post there tend to put down peo
