My system: Q6600 EVGA 8800GT 512MB 4GB OCZ SLI ram I plan to throw a 9800GT in there when they're released, then use the EVGA step-up to upgrade my existing card to run sli. Also look forward to overclocking the cpu+memory+gpu at that time as well. :CONGRAT: The game runs at 1920x1200 and all effects enabled/maxed. When my entire fleet of 16caps+ship slots maxed is battling an opponent's fleet and I'm zoomed in up close, it does stutter a lit

Which version of SDC are you running? Help->About SDC Which OS are you using and does your user account have limited privileges? Do you have any security apps running that could possibly be interfering? If you right click Sins in the download list and choose Download and Archive, does that get the full file to you? (Use Ctrl+R to restore when it's complete) -Mike [Stardock Support]

Our servers hit 1Gb/sec not too long ago. Their fans are running at full to keep those things cooled, I'm sure :CONGRAT: -Mike [Stardock Support]

Which OS are you running? What kind of privileges does your windows user account have? Which version of SDC are you running (Help->About SDC)? Try downloading and archiving (Right click Sins) first, then choose File->Restore Archive ( Ctrl+R ) and see if that helps any. -Mike [Stardock Support]

I would also ensure you do not have any security applications running that may be locking files and/or preventing access. This can sometimes hang up the installer at some point. Something else you might try is right clicking on Sins and choosing "Download and archive". This will download the entire game to your system so you can then just restore it from an archive (File->Restore Archive Ctrl+R ) which will go much faster. If you still have a problem, please

Uninstallation of the game depends on how you had installed it in the first place. If you used a standalone installer (i.e. the DVD) to install Sins, you will need to use Add/Remove programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista) to uninstall Sins. If you used Stardock Central to install Sins, you will need to use Stardock Central to uninstall it as well. Like psugar said, just select the product from the list of games and click the button in the bottom right corner

[quote]The concern was that the majority would complain if we charged pre-orders a day early without providing the final game. We will be re-evaluating this for the future, but clearly there's nothing to be done about it today.[/quote] The purpose of pre-ordering in this case (if not to access the closed Beta) was to ensure you would get a copy at your own convenience. We could have alternatively just said Sins would be available February 4th. Come back then to buy it. The way we did

The pre-orders are being processed in the order that they were received. -Mike [Stardock Support]

Of course this will only work once your order has been processed. An alternative location to have your account information ordered to you is at https://www.stardock.com/support Just fill out the E-mail Address field and click GO If you're interested in finding out your information yet another way , Create a Stardock.net account <A href="https://www.stardock.com

Probably one of the greatest incentives and reason people did preorder was because pre-ordering got you into the closed Beta, so you get a chance to play the game before it is ready. Many people have already had their pre-orders processed and received their information. It shouldn't be long now before everything is processed. -Mike [Stardock Support]

You did preorder the DVD according to your account, so you can expect that to arrive. It will probably take around a few days. Just being shipped standard ground shipping afaik. If you don't get it by Friday, you may want to contact [email protected] . They can assist with any inquiries regarding transactions, shipments, etc. -Mike [Stardock Support]

If you rename the iprepair.dll file (located within the IconPackager directory that defaults to C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\IconPackager ) to something else, for example iprepair.dll.bak, does that help your problem? -Mike
