I have noticed that i also get low cpu usage when i use mpegs and wmv's,however, when i use the .dream extension my cpu usage increases so there is obviously some kind of an overhead/incompatibility either globally or with my machine and a few others that is causing this. For e.g if i run the underwater dream in the pic up there ^ i get around 12 - 15% cpu usage on my dual core 1mb cache opty @ 2.8 but if i run an MS dream in wmv or mpeg i get more like 2 - 6% usage <img src="http://ima

if people want to charge money for a few seconds of looped video As You put it a " few seconds of looped video " can actually take a few hours or more to Perfect and fine tune - and what about the simple all video ones ? - well first you had to shoot the video , then download it , put into a video making program , edit , play with it till it's right , crop what you want and save - now to the Dream making process - soo
I agree, if people want to charge money for a few seconds of looped video that's fine.................as long as they don't expect me to pay for it The free one's are just fine.
Well said Venom, some people are never happy and they seem to think the rest of the world owes them something
Yeah my system scores a 5.4 ( lowest is dual core opty ) on the WEI and i find that running 'dreams' is not noticeable at all unless i sit glued to some performance graphs Thanks for all the free stuff and long may it continue
