byzantine....do we have to invade and conquer steam to get our games? like he said though.......the online method seems to be the best way for most people to get their hands on this game and they will mail it to you aswell
Laww
hmm..you could always try an online purchase..... and they will mail it to you aswell as let you download it and play it till your box arrives..in which you can sit there and sniff it while waiting for games to start :P
this isnt supreme commander..they arent experimental..they are fully implemented super weapons :P it disables everything in the gravity well its fired into for a short time
try reinstalling the game....might be running into a certain part of code in the game that might just be bad and might just need to be reinstalled on your machines..i know i used to get crashes back in the beta whenever the game tried to do just one thing which for us though...was easily fixed with a patch...ours was a gun effect that didnt pop up till mid to late game through research
you should rename it the blonde planet
not sure if it has been posted in here..but its alot to go through when im at work on a laptop battery about to die if possible..for friendly ships to make use of a friendly vasari phasegate (or marauder) sometimes i would be on the other side of the system and an ally needs help..my fleet takes forever to return to assist but he has phasegates all over and his fleet has just nearly been whiped..so he cant recover in time...so i would try to make it back to help defend his stuf
works fine with mine aswell
If you include AI surrendering....atleast give us the option on whether to accept it..cause back in age of empires....the ai would surrender and the game would just be over......i would like the choice to be able to still finish them off :P
Could someone list out what TEC, Advent, and Vasari can each do? Newer players/players who are looking for info before buying probably have only the slightest clue what faction the names belong to. (I fall under the second catagory) My reply broke it down between the three races, pretty specific <img id="ImageResize_Image_2" onload="ImageResizer.createOn(this);" src="http://images.star
im still waiting for xfire support from xfire
this has actually been brought up a few times before already just to let you know
if anything.....you can purchase a copy of the game and have it shipped to you....i mean...sure it may cost a lil extra since you would be getting it shipped overseas..but its better than nothing and could be the fastest way for you to get it than downloading it off and on over a week or two
Yeah multiplayer vs. AI is my favorite thing to do, its wicked fun Just be prepared for some long games though if you set it on normal speed and have a huge galaxy. Not that long games are a bad thing since you can save at any time and if the other player drops out you can just load back in from an autosave or you can le
I havent actually sat there and played any of the missions in the retail yet (just been knocking it out in 1v1s so far to try out the changes since the betas when im not asleep or working)
Personally, I have a little thing I made in LCDStudio to display vital computer stats like CPU / RAM usage, CPU / GPU temperature and the like.
ive done that aswell....but actually making one that actually takes information from a game or other source and displaying it......havent done and if i knew how to do so.....i would make one for sins myself
Now that the game is out and I am sure I am not the only one that has one of these keyboars...was wondering if there was anyone out there with any experience making programs for the keyboard. I think there is the possible use of a program for displaying ingames stats for Sins on the G15. (ship count, planet count, resources....stuff like that)
the vasari's can be used to disable everything in a system you might be going to attack..or are already attacking...so say you are mopping up an enemy fleet and they are about to possibly try to jump their last remaining ships...fire it into the system and they cant jump...they are forced to fight....till they get their systems back online that is
you must be talking about the belts....you would have to use a scout to go and capture the extractor
well..its no total war game (alot of those terms remind me of my shogun games)but you are more than capable of pretty much that playstyle. the diplomacy menu gives you quite a few options but without teams being locked...means even if you are friends with a guy....doesnt mean he isnt planning something for you (goto downloads section and look at the screenshots...image 10 of 12 has a screenshot of the diplomacy menu)
unbalanced...how so? (ive only messed with the vasari SW so far)
..blair..you forgot the link for the map-designer vid
i havent messed with the media hubs yet.......so they dont take-over planets anymore?
i have noticed though in the retail the pirates are a bit more of a pain now than they were in the beta. they are a bit tougher now and im not sure if its just me...but they almost feel like they attack a bit more often too now. it doesnt really bother me too much since sometimes i just let them come and use them to knock up some experience on my caps...but i do tend to lose small fleets early on against them because they are a bit more powerful than i can handle at times considering im also h
The game still fails to provide me with the option to select the screen resolution that I use of 1280x720 with my computer even in its final state. I have remarked on this before in the beta a couple times aswell and was expecting this to be fixed by now.
ahahaha...the pirate raid imminent one is perfect for us Drunken Pirates :P
