they are only put into other star systems with more than 3 players..and even then you will have people in the same system as you..its how the game is setup
last game someone tried to mod with halo stuff ended up getting shutdown by MS/Bungie since they were in the development of their own official RTS for halo. we also i dont think really have many spacecraft visuals from the halo universe to really make a space mod for it for SoaSE either i dont think. if this was a ground based game though we would have way more options...and then would probably also be shutdown by MS/Bungie since that is what their's is.

yes....either a timer for the idlers or a tag for those that are playing or removing those that are playing from the list once their game launches. something in that form should be put in. when I look at the lobby list....I expect it to contain the names of people that can and will actually respond to a conversation.
Well I think there should be a timer put into the lobby so that if there is no game activity for say...30 minutes to an hour....the player is logged off. It is kinda frustrating to login late at night and see a couple people on and expect to get a game only to find out they arent even there....probably even asleep with the game still running.
ever consider just adding a few seconds of blank audio to the sound file at the beginning so it matches up?
or make it so that over say...a period of 5 minutes..the structures of the old owner lose health and if the planet isnt recaptured by then....the structures will be destroyed...sorta like a self destruct.
