yarlen i am hoping that the multiplayer beta will allow 2v2 on a small scale... it just allows people to see how the team function will work and what not.... a lot of poeple are concerned about the team functionality like myself.... indeed...a 2v2 minimum atleast...this game is on such a massive scale and one of the biggest things is multiplayer
it would be rather pointless for them to have no multiplayer in the beta. it should have multiplayer still just in a limited format.
I just wish we would have kept one of the old forums...they were much better... atleast with these you can automatically goto the last post you saw and continue reading from there....makes keeping track of where you left off easier
This type of gameplay example will start showing up next year. It's too soon right now to put those together and really show off all that the final game will offer. We're still very far off from release. thing is...i think alot of us would take the game as is already XD
some games that have incorporated mp time advancements had it setup to where all players had to goto the same setting before it would activate that way no one could try to be an ass so to speak. cant remember the game but defcon also impliments this. the game stays at the slowest chosen speed by majority...so even if someone has it set higher..it will stay at the lowest speed available and only move up to faster speeds as the lowest person's setting. something like this could possibly be imp

There's no multiplayer support either. No one plays on the server. did you download the multiplayer patch? they changed the server the game connects to by default now for games
the battlefield series is different as it basicly keeps track of your player and the awards and weapons you unlock. RTS games are quite different especially in the aspect of sins where you will have a reward system for individual ship survial not in the aspect of unlocking cool radically different stuff to use..but slight enhancements maybe to armour...fire control...and manuevering. basicly...it will be like the real world...your ships survive battles and like most people...learn from some mi
well the thing is the rewards wont be a constant. they will be just like every other game....everything is a clean slate at the start of a game and as your ships progress and survive battles..they gain basicly battle experience and are able to fight slightly better. so it wont really matter on how long the guy is playing but moreover how long the ship itself has survived through combat and what it has learned through its many battles.
just for the demo..it doesnt connect to their server database anymore

well i did the single player demo already and it took me a few to figure some things out but i still have questions on some parts..would it be possible for you to fire up the multi demo sometime and show me how to do more? its layout is rather different from what im used to

hmm....i do like the sound of lifepods though.....i like to think my people would try to fight till the last moment and save themselves to fight another day. ive been avoiding it....but this nexus game sounds slightly worth a try out of boredom just to see what it has. it have a demo? the idea of heroes though for the game i rather dislike. back when i played "star wars: empire at war" and i got heroes...i tended to always keep them with the major fleet and major ground assau
