Ron, don't let all the distractions get to you. Your doing a fine job and it is appreciated by many of us. "some things could have been done better" is a Monday morning quarter back phrase used by those who usually have nothing to offer. The work you have been doing has made this a better community and it will continue to get better as time goes on, in part, due to the work you have done around here! Alot of this sounds like the same noncence that occured during the "Pony vs E
noobs, the beat way to find people is to join a clan and hook up with people who want to learn as much as you do... there are several clans now with sins... You will find a partial list on the links page at www.thespaceponies.com [link="http://www.thespaceponies.com"]WWW Link[/link]
I know of a few people who have already played in tournaments for this game. How big or official these are, I don't know, but they won money. And my 1v1 games don't last very long because the game can be decided in a few battles. On larger maps, even if you lose a few battles or planets theres allies to help or many other planets to pull from.
Where? when? Who and how? please let me know as I have been planning just such a thing myself. (please pm or email me with it, that
The first game I won was the one where I first discovered the space ponies. They're an unstoppable force in the game. Little pink ponies flying toward the enemy fleet and exploding on impact into many rainbows and gumdrops.

I got space ponys once and I saw no improvement in anything. I think its just a joke within the game. It adds character, I enjoy games when they have random stuff in them
gotta love it!
Sorry SpacePony, many of our top skill members only joined the GE when the full game came out = they were never Pony members.
Umm if you noticed I winked after the statement, I was being a smart ellic..
Um, excuse me but could I have some cheese to go with my whine?
I never claimed that the GE has the best artistic ability. Just the most active members and highest skill.
and all those skill players?? THEY WERE ALL PONIES!! ;)
I came across these Ponies one time but they freaked me out when they wouldn't stop calling me Charlie and kept trying to get me to go to 'Candy Mountain'.
Yes, Yes, come with us to Candy Mountian Charlie..... The Ompalumpas like it there and you will too!!!
That'd be pretty hot SpacePony, right now I was looking into getting one of the 15TB bandwidth plans so there'll be no problems with people downloading mods and such. Just can't find any companies I like. That and I don't feel like paying for a full year up-front. 8)Although, 15TB/mo might be going overboard, lol. What do you think? Also - do you have a site I can check into your plans if I need a more permanent solution?
I have a very versital server set up that starts a
Haha, yeah I use GoDaddy for domain services only. I haven't had any problems with them in the 6 years I've used them. Edit: Yep, that's my point Uzii! Once my buddy gets his hosting stuff worked out, it'll be up. Hopefully that'll be today, if he doesn't get it fixed I may have to go host hunting, and man I hate that.. lol.
no need to host hunt... let me know what you need and I will be able to provide it for you... I am a teir 2 registar and have both windows a
no offence but Stardocks realy needs to fix their Forums..yesterday it did not even load the forums on my PC..they can sell 200,000 copy's but getting a decent forums is to much to ask i guess
The system was attacked last weekend. They are taking corrective messures to fix it.. so yes they can have decent fourms, sorry they were not perfect. To OP: You use godadddy??? you poor thing you..
ok what did you mean by dedicated because at Starwars empire at war is was with WD And UT and their leaders said i had massive potential to become a admiral i am really good at multiple fronts battles and honestly not so good at getting intial things done first but thats because i just got this game last week
The Space Ponies welcomes everyone, so if you want to develop your skills at this game we are the ones to join, also with us you will have an oppertunity to show the
JinxofSin, you speak like you were a space Pony!!
can one of you recruit me
It's not too late, save yourself...
If you really wanted to sell it, you would have gone to Ebay and not these forums.Stardock's registration has the effect of making their games non-sellable, period. It's damn unfortunate, and something I'll take into account before taking a chance on another SD published game.
Gee did you ever consider giving them the account info as well?? that makes it very sellable.. also being they can change the accunt name when you give it to them... You can use different accou
Big bump! :CONGRAT:
I will be happy no matter what, unless I see some stupid Borg cube.Since Major Stress is thinking of incorporating the Borg now, then maybe you should clarify what you consider "stupid". Stupid looking (ie poor model/texturing)? Or you just hate the Borg?
Stupid is as stupid ...
Get this!! someone flagged the video I posted above as inappropriate on YouTube.. How pathetic that someone would do that... We all know that Star Dock didn’t do it or they would have said something about it… Well I am reposting it and also letting You Tube know about it as well. I have no clue who did it but next time go make some fan material of your own rather then trying to shut down someone who made some for the game. It was not going to be in the contest as it was not good eno
Ihave done what you guys asked and emailed you a few days ago and still no response. PLEASE help i really want to play online this weekend and Im already getting very bored of playing stupid computer opponets.
same here, mine was sent in yesterday.
It is high noon here and the air is strangly quite on this subject.
One problem people that are taking the sides of their comp-cases off should be aware of is:Most cases today are manufactured to allow for the best possible "air-flow" throughout the system. Taking the sides off of one's case often disrupts/negates the effects of the case-induced air-flow and can really "cook" things. For example. A client of our firm a few years back, had purchased a brand new Xeon-based Server with a 6-disk RAID-array. They kept the sides off of the case while it was stil
bg big bump
great stuff
I just take off the side plates (yes, both sides) to my computer and point a fan into it turned on high. my dad keeps the 2 side plates ... his reasoning is that the fan cools one side plate (the one near the CPU & videocard) and that this cold somewhat transmits itself to the nearby components ...his objections to your approach are that u risk blowing in dust + the too direct wind force of the fan might disrupt some componentswhat do u think ?
He is correct about the dus
