One thing is for sure, the single player mode in this game is boring after awhile, I understand that those issues will be addressed as time goes on. I can assure you that frogboy himself reads these threds and takes notes. One way to really spice up the single player aspect of this game will be with mods, and consiering that modding this game is easy, the diversification of single player mode is sure to happen and thus the boring aspect of the game will be dininished to the point that

Have you considered the idea of doing this as a division of a clan rather then solo? It would enable you to fully develop a section within a site with all the information you develop for better game play. You could then share it with a wider audience and thus increase the number of players available for these small games you speak of.. More fun for everyone

dont give up. this game is truly awsome... you will get the hang of it. there are several groups forming around the game that if you join them will help you to learn the game better and allow you the opertunity to play with people on the same level as you as well as better then you to assist you in learning. In this game it is a FFA in diplomacy, heck even my clan the space ponies and the other original SoaSE clan the galactic empire are friends in the real world (meaning on the forums and such) but in game lore we have created a story line that is all back stabbing and treachery. It makes the game fun and as long as you don't do it every single time you play it should be just fine.
