This is what happens when you listen to the market research (beta testers). Go figure you put together a good product using the very people who would be intrested in a game like this instead of building a game and then hoping to create a market..
Wll there he goes again. I went down to 2 more stores, this time in Cherrry Hil,l New Jersey. The wal-mart on rt 38 did not carry the game and the game Stop did not have any copies.. I am never going to get a Shirt at this rate!

Ok, Last weeek the game was not in the stores in the area due to shippind difficulties. (go that from a salesman for a distibutor) so I went out today to three stores. The Wal-mart on columbus Blvd in Philadelphia and tThe Wal-Mart in Williamstown NJ and The GameStop in Williamstown NJ and all 3 were sold out!!! so again, no photo of me and a box... X-( X-(
I understand all that ... the problem was that production locked... nothing was moving forward, no research, no development, nothing.. It was going on for about ten min before I noticed that my ships were being destroyed but nothing was being rebuilt and my available fleet capacity was not going up.. In a game that kind of thing can cause you to lose real fast. The people that I was playing with stopped shooting at me so that I could take the time to examine what was going on.

this morning while playing, I was clicking on a factory rebuilding some ships (I was hosting game) during that time my Cap ship Max went to -1 and my fleet capacity went to about 30. It took me over 30 min to unravel what was going on. I did not figure out how it happened but the solution to ending it was to remove a cap ship from production. But why did this happen in the first place? also I am reasonably certain, but not 100% that research was also halted during this time.<br
Ok we came agross this last night and it was a shme we could not do it. How about the ability to add people as friends while playing a game not just in the lobby. we had a great game gling and 2 people had to leave mid game but wantted to be able to contact us later on to set up another game. We could not do so from within the game.. minor feature but real handy when trying to build like minded players for future refrence.

heck I offered full hosting to the GE clan for free (they could have even had a full domain pointed at it but chose to stay with the modcraft forums) I do not have enough time to effectively recruit and develop membership as I am busy developing content for the site as well as several others. This morning when I was playing on a large map and I was hosting, I lost. I left the game and when I tried to host a new game I got the message "map already in use" I disconnected for the server, closed the game, deleted all auto saves, log in and still got the error. Repeated the above steps (nothing to delete) rebooted my computer, reset my modem logged in and same error. Changed map size, same error.
I was told to just ignore the error msg... and I did and I hosted just fine. I think the bug is that it says you can't when you really can

I have found that if you send them in fleets of 15 into a battle they are great at hitting repair stations, hangers and cannons. This while the main fleet is knocking off other ships. In small numbers I find their use limited.
It has been whiped like a dead pony over and ove but let me put in my two cents worth on it as well, 1. make the PJI's stronger and please redo them for later 2. Make it so that first contact is not a shooting match 3. change it so that you can't have a trade or vision exchange while at war... it makes no sence the way it is.. We can trade but we shoot at each other while were at it? Thats all I can really think of for the moment that would be easy useful fixes

The Pink Space Ponies welcome you. This game most certainly lends itself to clan playing!
The game could use some portable weapon systems. One consideration might be a transport ship that could be converted to a tactical item. the ship would take up fleet capacity until it is converted and once converted that is it.. where you put it is where it stays! if various locations like gas giants were given an absolute number of tactical slots this would enable use of the space and still maintain balance as your limited in the number of units... eliminates spamming..
