You know if you had a problem with it then why the hell come and comment on it. I get annoyed just as much as you do with it but WHO CARES. if you have a problem with his post then don't $&@(*$ read it.
This is a bad argument because it doesn't make the author aware of the issue, and the fact is, his massive wall of text is difficult to digest. It's also laziness on his part - he's just written a stream of consciousness and then clicked submit. I think t

Allow variable rates (discounts) for pirates when a weaker player is buying them, to allow a losing team to easily send the pirates off after the stronger team. This makes sense from a "roleplay" perspective, because pirates would always want a balanced galaxy, so one team doesn't rule everything (and then wipe out the pirates).
When you can't swim and the water's too deep to wade, it is normal for people to head for shore.
So eloquent! :) This game does suffer from "The Slow Death", where once you're losing, you pretty much can't turn it around unless the enemy leaves. There should be some kind of bonus for smaller teams and pirates... like the pirates offer a discount for their services (it's in their interest never to let one side win, cause then they'd get smashed by

Here's my idea for a diplomacy implementation - alliances. If you want to forge an "alliance" with someone, you both sign a treaty.... and deposit money in a "galactic bank" of some sorts (future version of IMF or similar - GMF - Galactic Monetary Fund?). I'm sure we could get advanced on how much money you put in, but for simplicity's sake lets say 50/50. Perhaps there's various factors involved in who puts in more - and perhaps there's some diplomacy skills that lets you negotia

So how does the SP component work? After reading the "Lore" section of this site it appears there's some kind of story unfolding. A lot of the info about sins so far has to do with the game mechanics and user interface etc. I can't really find any information about the single player. At the moment, I'm playing GalCiv2's "Dread Lords" campaign and I really like the idea of a story progressing over each mission/map that I play. I'm hoping sins has something simi
