First of all, let me first say that I love Sins, and I am not exaggerating when I say that it is the most engrossing RTS I have ever played. The Single Player is decent, but Sins really shines in multiplayer, and that is what makes the multiplayer lag issues all the more annoying. There are numerous ways to beat spam fleets. Most of the time, people who complain about spammers are simply not as good at managing their economy as their opponent, who is thus able to "spam" (outproduce) their opponent. Luckily for you, there are atleast a few counters available for any time of spam. You can also outmicro your opponent with cap ship abilities if your fleet is close enough in strength to his. Stop whining and start practicing :)
