so i was playing my first real game last night. Had it set on teams of 3. After I started expanding i discovered some CPU enemies. Who very swiftly bypassed all the defences set up in my frontline systems and jumped all the way to my back colonies.... in a matter of seconds. There needs to be some kind of downtime inbetween jumps otherwise it just gets too ridiculous.

Hey guys, just a thought, this is a space RTS, one of the things that makes Space RTS's great is the ability for movement in 3D. Changes strategies a lot. Maybe we could start setting planets above and below the 2D plane. Making you have to focus on Up down gameplay not just North South east and west gameplay. My 2 cents. wouldn't make a difference unless they did away with the warp lanes. It would

-collision awareness: fighters flying through structures happens frequently. Haven't checked, but they might be flying around, while the icon goes through? I was zoomed in at the time. It was in the tutorial.

And as a reaction to the request for player customizable ships: what about allowing a certain amount of stat tweaking on capitol ships. Like Increasing the effectiveness of certain weapons while decreasing that of others. Something like that maybe. Personally I believe that's all anyone really has time for. Unless you add some kind of ship editor that is accessible outside of the actual game play as it would just suck up too much time. And it just seems to take too long to get

oh! When having multiple capitol ships together it is very difficult to switch between then (to use abilities, upgrade, etc). There's so much room open in the UI that I wouldn't mind having a window on the side showing icons of all the ship currently selected so that we could switch between them. Also when having multiple ships selected, if i wanted to change their defense posture i have to do it for every single one, it would have easy to just have them all adopt the same setting

First off: great start on one of the most ambitious genre crossing I've witnessed to date. The background nebula look nice and give a nice look for the galaxy. some things that caught my attention: -rally points from capitol shipyards: when i set a rally in a neighboring system the capitol ships move to the edge of the building system and then sit there. -warping large fleets and warping in general: at first it seemed a little off for the ships to be able to go to any
