Fuax pas means error or blunder...I hop you mean something along the lines of a decoy fleet? Not a "wrong" fleet. Anyways, part of the strategy of using those units is learning general tactics used against and how to counter. Worry more about your units

I like the Vasari...Ive always liked that kind of few, powerful, (expensive) units strategy.
Well, I think thats impossible as I believe fighters have to be ferried by capital ships. Also, we have been told that suprelight travel is very slow with beginning technologies. Also, it looks like there are stationary fighter bases which are probably good against rushes. And if you really don't want rushes, just put many huge galaxies.
This game looks even better with each new screenshot! Hopefully they will continue to improve

So basically you design a ship template, and then your planets automatically pump out a new fleet/replace damaged ships in a fleet and send them somewhere? That sounds like a useful feature. Lots less micro for building.
The amount of spaces indicates that it should be ~13 ships per race... But don't quote me on that. They could easily add more/not fill up all the spaces.
We really do need to find a new way to get things INTO space. The ways now are just too inneficient (and loud...) Nukes wouldn't work that well to get it up in the first place, and we don't have quite enough nanotechnology for a space elevator yet.
The real problem isn't that we don't have the technology to expand into space, its just that the governments have so many more "important" things to do.
An auto retreat would be an excellent idea. It would be wasteful to have ships suicide...unless there are suicide damage ships
So the first one is SP only. What are the limits on maps, game modes, races, AI...
The limits should probably be a changeable option. That way everyone will have their big/small battles.

If that was simplified, then I don't want to see the full version. Basically, everytime you start a MP game, all you ships are reset. THey only gain experience in each seperate game.
The first beta is due out after the New Year (think January). Not soon enough... But better than I expected

personally I think most people on this forum sound like they belong in IC or SD 1337 user(s) active in the last 5 minutes. I doubt they have THAT many employees
There would have to be some kind of penatly for having more active than you can support. Maybe units firepower and health is degraded, or reasearch slows, or some combination of things to prevent that.
Maybe there could be a ship storage orbit or something...It would be a good idea. However, restarting them should be time instensive and a decent cost, to prevent using them defensively.
Works fine for me... Why wouldn't they release a game with so good an engine that looks so close to release? I don't know what sins will looks like, but hopefully its something like that.
He means that there is a setting so that if someone leaves, than another person can take over for the AI that took over, not a spectator or waiting list from the beginning.
Maybe orbital buildings do have a maintainance cost. That way you coudln't spam labs.
fleet command capabilities So there is some kind of logistics thingy? Commmand ships that increase the number you can have in one fleet or something?
Don't remember seeing this discussed anywhere. How does the limit on ships work Is it a pop limit based on the number of peopl/logistics you have Or is it more of a GC2/SOTS thing with each ship constantly deducting resources as maintainance?
