Thanks folks for all who replied. I'll take a look at the gameplay vids as suggested, but I think you guys have pushed me past the point of no return with your silky smooth PR skills...

The premise for this game sounds rather interesting: big scale, slower paced, epic - RTS and 'turn based philosophy' blend. I am a big Galciv and RTS fan, so in principle it sounds like this game should be right up my alley. The question is - before I plonk down $44 - what are everybody's impressions so far? I'd like to make an informed decision before I commit. Thanks
