Yup. That seems to have finally done it. Thanks a bunch and a banana! I have a new problem now, though. The custom tile design isn't always showing up. Some games it will work perfectly, then I'll try another and I basically get an invisible building. It still works; I can select it, I get a steady influx of Wargs, and I can build units with them, but the tile itself looks totally empty. Advice?

Here is the complete entry. I did not rename the InternalName. If I change that, do I have add a new Internal Name entry for the new structure in some other file? If not, then what is the purpose of the InternalName parameter? Kennel</DisplayName>
Okay so I'm at my wit's end and the search function isn't working for some reason, so please forgive if this has already been answered somewhere. Right now I'm working on a sort of mini-mod, but I've run into a problem. I'm trying to create a building that will allow Kingdoms to construct their own Warg Kennels. I've already done the necessary Build and Complete tiles, I've added everything that should be needed into KingdomUnlimitedImprovements.xml, even going so far as to just copy
Sadly, no. Still just as frustrated as I was before. I guess there's always Sins, SotS, or SupCom, though.
My bad, Spooky. I was under the impression that turning off Hamachi accomplished the same thing. I'll remember that for future reference.
Firstly I gotta say it's pretty unlikely that my connection is running through a file server. Not only do I not know how to do that, but these are my personal home computers. I won't be running them through anything other than my router and the phone lines in the walls. By default Hamachi is my plan B for LAN gaming. I'm well aware of it's abilty to confuse Windows, so when I'm not using it I leave it off. Not even my regular LAN can detect Demigod games. Besides, using Hamachi when t
Demigod just refuses to play LAN games. I can see all the internet games just fine, but nothing on my own network. I only own one copy of the game, but read that Stardock or GPG or somebody has no problem with having friends over to enjoy the game on your own computers. However, product keys or what have you don't seem to be the problem. I have a friend who also owns Demigod. I had him over and did a complete unisntall and reinstall of impulse and everything on my other computer, then used hi
I'm running Windows XP SP2. Demigod just doesn't start. This is quite distressing, since I was in the beta and that worked just fine. Here's basically what happens: I double click the executable (or run from impulse, it doesn't matter) and the mouse turns into an hourglass for all of one tenth of a second, after which nothing happens. I've even had the task manager up to see if I might spot something there. Nothing. Demigod.exe shows up in the processes list fo
Okay, first off, I could be wrong on this. It may be that I just suck... but if it wouldn't be too arrogant of me to say so, I don't think that's the problem. I also wasn't sure whether to put this in the general section or beta feedback, but I guess I'll let one of the mods decide about that. I figured here, since I'm suggesting a balance change. My favorite faction is the TEC. I play them all the time. Problem is, they're useless against a skilled advent player. My friend and I play
Borg equipment would be a problem. Getting a ship to move like an actual Borg ship would be pretty tricky, methinks. Borg ships generally spin on their Z axis whenever moving or in combat and hold still at lower speeds or when stationary. They also don't fight like normal ships: you'll never see any fancy manuevers... or ANY kind of maneuvers from one of them. Also, can you imagine how goofy it would look if a cube weren't level? They're ALWAYS level, because they're the most number crunc
I have but one thing to say... well, for now anyway. "We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile." I've always wanted to sweep across the galaxy in an RTS as the Borg... and now I CAN. Why? Because it's one thing to BEAT your enemy, but a whole 'nother kind a nasty to ASSIMILATE them. Only problem would be making the ships actually l
