I liked the remake of The Thing for it's atmosphere, but how anybody can say they were scared by a monster that was nerver defined in the movie is beyond me. There's a difference between being scared of the monster and being scared of what it can do to you. Now, the original Thing IS something to be scared of on both fronts. It was also a better movie in a lot of ways. The remake had serious script problems in that those guys never liked each other in the first place. There was little or no c
