To the write of this post. Please allow me to help you understand how some of this rush strategy works against you and also how it works for you. First off, its realy not rushing. People call it that but its actual name is "fireline". The fireline is the "wave" of "pressure" you keep sustained on your enemies front at all times. It is through this line that you need to return the same pressure, else otherwise you will be swallowed whole by it. Now think of the

I agree wtih the topic starter. More point defense fire in random directions! More Cruise Missile trails! More uh, Plasma Cannons! Actualy the TDN Cap, the one on the far left in the build screen puts out a fair bit of spray all over with its sentry guns. Ok, it puts out a huge ammount of spray and it looks awesome.

Sins is its own game. Its an RTS alright, but its an evolution of concepts thats been long overdue to reach the masses. Galciv is a great turn based game however. Probably the only game thats peeled me away from MoO3, X-COM.

Meh. Its a long arguement but in a nutshel, SD's been very good about following up with updates post release that Ill bide my time to see what they can come up with, and hopefuly it covers this dept. Adressing specificaly: Fleet formation. Nothing is easyer to defeat than a scattered/trickle fleet. Fleet Composition. The only fleet easyer to spank is the one that dosnt have disposeable dps attacking the other guys disposeable dps. Target Priority. The next easyest

Actualy Ron is the crowned prince of offtopicdom. I didnt mean to imply that I dont like the guy or the effect he has on the community at large u n33bs. Thanks for teh flogs tho, nods. And yeah, focussing on your starting build listen closely to the pink space ponies: Economic infrastructure+ colonizing reserach with spammed frigates to support your Colonizer cap will go a long ways to ending an otherwise long game simply because its damage and surviveability output and in

My inputs relativly simple and straight forward. Dont get me wrong, I love the addition of the Vaasari minus one very small and simple detail. The colonizer cap ship for the Vas is way too powerful. Its literaly a deathstar. Its special planet sucking ability is outrageous when you couple with it the power to colonize. With that ability alone to suck a planet dry in one go, makes the player using it get all those resources and cash, and then plants a colony, its just, too good. <br/

I notice the AI runing away with its flagship much to early and I feel that it should move its flag with a better support fleet. It just seems the AI dosnt know how to compose its fleet very well to me from where I stand granted its made a bit of stride since the last update, its still horrible in the face of a human opponent. It calls primary(eve colloquial) poorly as well, often times opting to destroy support vessels while its single cap ship attempts to focus on another cap

When we get a real bonafied computer that rebells from its parents and goes about discovering the universe and itself, what kind of p0rn will it like?

372 Replies 520,393 Views

Why do we have to copy the human mind, to come up with a sentient computer? We dont have to but: AI)It would need to be able to sustain itself and perpetuate itself for it come into line with evolution(wich would be to Its advantage over time!!!1itty-1! A single celled organism knows the universe better than most humans do, liek,(99.999999999999999999123456789%) of humans living in big cities atleast. Its body knows how to

To Ninjapants: Yeah, relatively speaking, the difference could be expressed into lightyears , i agree. I dont have the inclination to actualy work the calculation but on scale, were somewhere in the same neighbourhood. Im not sure how blackholes actualy form but something tells me there are more than a few ways. For instance, some Stars with more than enough mass go kaboom and theres no blackhole. There most certainly are then a buttload of unknowns as to how that could hap

My Uncle H Jerry Longley is a quantum theorist that worked witih Hawkin's a bit,and was himself a specialist in tuning particle accelerators. Not a just a physicist any longer, but a bonafied theorist. Hes unfortunately passed away recently, and you can argue with his theorem on the subject if you happen to be a mathematician of some dicipline because its subtleties are beyond me. The fact of the "matter" is, matter energy can become supper bound states that sheds its skins(mass) while

Hawkin's theory doesnt need to be correct to keep us safe, quantum mechanics (which is more than sound enough) says that black holes decay, and that tiny black holes rapidly dissipate their mass far sooner than they can grab enough to sustain themselves. Actualy, Quantum theory dosnt have any experimental evidence to prove that matter once condensed into this state of density be it through anymeans muchless relative density methodes ala cyclotronage, eve

My answer to the question based on its proposition is no. Firstly, we have no business asuming that computers will ever reach a state of self awareness, if they could, then they could have realization. If they could have realization then they would have conciouness that is new to the universer, atleast on this planet and its comprehension would have an explainable mathematical formula. Since there is no mathematical formula other than the random cacophany of quantum circumstan
