I'd love to buy one but $48 shipping to Canada is outrageous. Sins' developers are here in Canada too. I don't see why we should be gouged like that on shipping. I order items from Amazon in the US all the time and shipping for similarly weighted items never cost $48.
Well for my processors it's 3.4ghz i dont think i have the money to get any better lol. And is it just me or has the gaming world gone nuts the industry peeked at Crysis now it's all about graphics card and processors got passed over, well whats new lol. Best thing we can do is just stop buying the games. Im going to now. Civ V was the tipping point, this game just knocked me over. So many game
That's extremely disappointing if Rebellion still only uses 1 core. For a game being released in 2012, not being multi-core aware is pretty egregious. The same is true for it being 32-bit only and capped at a maximum of 2GB of RAM.
Quoting myfist0, reply 3184Mini freeze? Late game lag or a crash? The freeze is 4 or 5 seconds fine then then freeze for a sec then fine, it only happens after the 2hour mark but as you can see by my specs it shouldnt happen. (it's like civ games all over again) y make games that stop working after so many hours ? its funny the last civ game i played that i finished was civ 3 lol civ 4 and 5 have bit memory leaks t
1. I'll be redesigning all of these at some point, probably before the next release. They'll be less code efficient, but more functional AI wise, and canon in their effect. The AI is just too damned stupid to use those targeted abilities wisely, it only acts at one level of depth, all files below the first are ignored in the decision making process. 2. No. <
I've got a couple of questions I hope you guys might be able to answer for me. 1. Take for example the Intrepid class and its tractor beam ability. When I have many Intrepid's grouped together, I often find them all hitting the same ship with their tractor beams, instead of spreading them out 1 per enemy. Is this simply because of the way the AI in Sins works? Any idea if the AI might be smarter in this regard in Rebellion? 2. It's my
If the Intrepid is indeed upped to an Elite unit, may I suggest adding the ablative hull armour (from the Voyager finale) to it as its Level 6 ability? Some sort of timed armour making the ship nearly indestructible for 30 seconds or so would be neat. Either that or the Transphasic torpedoes that could be useful against the Borg. The torpedoes would have to be nerfed, there'd be no way to justify killing a Cube in 1 shot in a game of Sins.
Any chance we might see a Vesta-class Elite ship on the Federation side? Vesta-class ships have slipstream drives, which could be an interesting Level 6 ability. The Ambassador-class could be weakened slightly and made into a Cruiser to accommodate something like a Vesta Elite.
Hotfix for Romulan Starbase Updated OP I will add the SB icons for the next patch. Someone was in to much of rush uploading this one.
Does this fix just the Romulan starbases? I've noticed the same bug seemingly intermittently with Dominion starbases as well.
It affected both my friend and the two AI Romulans. None of their starbases would fire at anything other than other starbases. If an enemy tried to build another starbase next to the Romulan one, it would fire at it. It wouldn't fire at any ships though. I'll try a single-player game later and see if the problem persists there as well. EDIT. I just played a single player game as Romulan against a Romulan AI. Neither my starbases nor his wo
Just played a game with some buddies. The Romulan starbases seem to be broken. My friend built one in each of his planets, and none of them would fire on any enemies. They just sat there and died. This wasn't in the previous patch, so I'm thinking it's a new bug (or one we've never run into before in 50+ hours of this mod).
