The decade isn't over yet. The new decade starts 2011. Think about it.

I haven't played alot yet, but so far I feel like the cost of the Starbase seems right. The research stations + the research itself in addition to building the construction frigate. I do however feel like the upgrades are a little expensive to begin with. Case in point would be the hangar upgrades which are close to twice what you would pay for a hangar bay defensive structure. Maybe drop the cost of the first upgrade in the series and have them get more and more expen
Homeworld was great. I still have HW1, HW2, and Cataclysm. I enjoyed the fuel aspect in the first one, you don't see too many games that use anything like that. I have to agree on the story as well, with Cataclysm being a little below the other two. The story board narration was and still is original and very well done. Less is more I guess. I haven't played them in a while, I can't get cataclysm to run at all, but I might try to reinstall HW1 thi
Too bad that when other parts of the Bible (or at least the current interpretations of those parts) contradict what the "firmament [is showing]", "[days are uttering]", and "[nights are revealing]" its worshipers automatically assume that the interpretation of the book is correct and it is the interpretations of the universe's message that is flawed.
Going along with that, wasn't the bible originally written in ancient hebrew and greek? In college I studied spanish for f
Evolution, the how and not the why?
As a side note: I wasn't the only one in college level logic wondering why we didn't learn that stuff in elementary school, was I?
+1 I really enjoyed my philosphy class in college and like you wished I had heard all that stuff years earlier. I guess we could chock it up to not enough funding? If ID has equal support among the scientific community as the theory of evolution then I have no problem with it being taugh along side. Though the prospect of both being
Something I am slightly confused about. Are supporters of ID campaigning to get this taught in Science classes or just in school? As long as no one tries to cram it down my throat I could care less but Science should stay in science class and it seems that ID isn't based on science so... teach it in philosophy class. I apologize if ID has some basis in science, I haven't read or heard about it if it has.
Yeah I know it's a bad example, I had philosophy in college back in 2002. But my point still stands. All logic isn't sound logic and just because Sciene does use logic does not mean that Logic = Science.
I have read the first two pages of this and I see alot of posts equating science with logic. They are not necessarily the same thing. Science requires experimentation and observation to get results, read: the Scientific Method. Logic can easily be false. Here is a decent example of fals logic. A. If every Tuesday it rains and B. My weekly prescription comes every Tuesday, then C. Every time it rains my weekly prescription arrives. Obviously it can rain other day
No it's the opposite. 3 players with 1 planet can have more ships than one player with 100 planets. As soon as there is more players in an alliance, the cap becomes higher regardless of economy, skill, research or anything else. It doesn't make sense. A 2 player alliance playing against a 3 player alliance should not be disadvantaged just because of numbers. The 2 players even if they have a better economy, more planets and more skill should not be forced to have 50% less ships. It just
