Problem with freshly installed GC2+addons in Galactic Civilizations II Stardock Forums

Ive recently reinstalled windows and desided after seeing v2.0 for gc2 was released to install the game again, but no matter if I try to run GC2 or Dark avantar or twilligt of the Anor all that happends after the launch screen is a black window opens like its about to start the game. The black window takes up about half the screen(Im running 1680x1050) and then nothing happends. Harddrive is not spinning and nothing happends no matter how long I leave the computer. If I ope
