I understand that I can use one serial on two machines for LAN play (?). I bought my Sins through Stardock / download. Here's my plan: I have a friend, and we're planning to play Sins on LAN this weekend. He must be converted to the Sin-side. His girlfriend, being a most excellent girlfriend, is keen to play, too, as long as she's playing with us and not on her own. So I've decided to buy them a copy. So we'll have 3 machines and 2 copies, which I think will work.<br/

Ahhh, that explains it. I've been testing stuff out on small 1v1 maps.

He SAW the fleet coming. He had ALL his forces in system. The Siege Frigs take so much damage that they can sit under the guns of your entire empire and smoke the planet. That's the issue, people, and the next person who says "why didn't you see them coming" gets a smack upside the head. Reduce their hp, and the problem is sorted. Just make them easier to kill. It's an elegant solution - you really shouldn't be bringing siege frigs in until the defences are - at the very least - engaged

Sorry, don't remember the tech names, but they're as described - one says it'll let you jump further, and the other says it gives access to wormholes. I tried them last night and could see absolutely no effect, and no way to use them or build anything to use them. Help? The fact that no-one else seems to have asked makes me suspect I'm just a bit of an idiot...

Given that we're 16-odd hours ahead of the US, that means we should have it Tuesday morning. If the counter at the top has any meaning, it'll be midnight tonight. ...unless you know something I don't...
