what i want to added is that how can Sins and Sup Com be compared, the two games are like apples and oranges. Well for one thing, the maps in Sup Com, they are very mission based, and the entire map for each mission opens up gradually as you open achieved objectives. In Sins, everything is open to the players, so everything is fair. That in itself is a big differences, it involves are different type of strategies. Also, as a strategy game, Sup Com does not run very well with extremely high n

No..the space pony has a amusing secretive history on this forum, and it has become an inside joke. I for one don;t get the punch line.
ah..what is a forum troll or trolling a thread??? i heard of the term, but i never understood the meaning. Can someone explain please????? It is only until recently i found out what the term "flaming" means.
China Hong Kong, then moved over to Canada. Hate the cold here
but i read somewhere if we accomplished all the in game acheivements, there will be a hidden mod which will be unlocked. If that is true, then how do we get the space ponies acheivment????
I think one of the game reviewer, probably either gamespot or IGN implied in their review that the reasons why so much of the 4x elements are lacking in Sins even though there are elements of 4x in the game are the following reason, the three races are at war, and hence there will be war and war and hence forget much about exploration. Well if one thinks about the background story for Sins, it makes sense.
Hello everyone and anyone who have a psp or who knows someone else who do. I just recently purchased my first hand held console. Well..i bought it becasue i need something compact, lite and small to lugged around for music and movie watching and serving the internet in my university, and not for games playing. I do have a question, i heard that the Psp can be modded like the regular ps 1 and 2, and even 3, and likewish Xbox. Has anyone done it, and is it worth do
Mopes is alright, Silvan is probably from Hong Kong, they have different sense of humour there, and it was not meant to come across the way you read it. I am from there myself, and translating chinese humour into english with all the culture nuances is a challenge at times. :D
I wonder if the end turns in LE immortals will get freeze in late games. Paradox has stated that there can be as many as 5000 stars in a galaxy. I hope not. I saw recently on a wilki site dedicated to the upcoming game Spore, it says that there would be half a million/billion stars in the galaxy (within the game). I wonder if that is even practical or enjoyable for a player to have that many. way too much information to absorb and manage.
For all those of you who don't understand why in certain part of the world, people pirates things... Well my friend made a very sad but amusing observation, amusing depending on one's perspective. He said..in Europe, hackers and pirates crack and pirates software, movies, dvd, etc for fun and the challenge of just being able to do it. But in Asia, those same type of pirates and hackers do it to make a living. I have a friend who pirates software to the point he never
this game has been mentioned before on this forum, it was thought that some aspects of it were ripped off of Galciv 2. But then, it is hard not to do that.
I don't know if this has been asked before, but it has been awhile since i played Galciv 2. anyways, is there anyway i can start an AI vs AI game. What i would like to do is to watch how the AI actually plays and learn from it. I can't seem to do well with my economy on games where there are no economic resources near by. So i want to know what i am doing wrong and get some ideas by observing the computer.
wait, i don't understand what the code means. Sorry. can you explain. i am not much into modding or computer coding for that matter. Thanks
can we have abilities that throw the enemies fleet 5 phase jumps away from there current location, or throw them to the next star system, like in star trek. That would be one annoying super weapon to have. :D
the Feburary issue of PC gamer, there were articles about how the latest hardware requirements are the main factors that motivate new breakthroughs in game mechanics. Well Sins are a counter example to that. If you guys are interested, try to get a hold of that issue, it discusses how different games from RTS, RPG, FPS, etc, all requiring the latest and the best rigs garner the most industry awards and awarding player with stunning graphical and playing experiences. Examples cited a
as the title states, space ponies acheivement, what is it suppose to be??? do someone know????? Thanks
besides incurring economic peanlty and nerfing damages for superweapons, also, have a significant range reduction, maybe it can only fire two jumps away, or increase in range comes in increase in resource costs, each phase lane that it can fire over will cost 10000 in cash, 3000 in crystals and 5000 in metals.
I remember Bill Gates once complaint (before the release of Xbox 1), that it is hard to play pc games for many people because consumers require to install the game after the purchased. So he thinks playing pc games should be as simple as playing console games, pop the thing into your cd/dvd rom and then you can start playing. The thing is that why has not anyone come out with software that does just exactly that, i mean, the software program will turn a pc into some sort of console.
Is Chris serious about not able to pirate console games. Which century or planet is he living in still. Has he heard of something call an console emulator. Sooner or later, there will be an emulator for xbox 360, and also for PlayStation 3. It will be a matter of time before somebody likes the challenge too much to make one for any new consoles out there, and then comes the game being converted to online roms. Does he even know that a PS2 can have a mod chip put inside so that it
so i guess the three are really different creatures, while AoW and MoM are a bit similar. Thanks :D
I just want to ask, Anyone play all of the following series of games Dominions 3 the awakening, and both its predecessors Master of Magic Age of Wonders, all three games I have played the first one briefly and liked it very much, but never the other two on the list. Can anyone tell me what their impressions about these games and how are they differences in terms of contents, game mechanics and scope; like the max size of units, game session lengths, map sizes, modd
more technologies researched that can affect morale and hence planet's allegiance.
can we have the ability to recorded our own games like in SINS, also, being able to just watching the AIs played against each other.
will the game be as big in scope and depth as Dominions 3 the Awakening???
