why can't the Galciv2 AI be used for Sins. I don't think anyone would be complaining after the game is released. Talking about AI, does the game come with different difficulty settings.

wait, but for the single player sandbox mode, do we get to play as one of the three sides, and do each side come with unique technoglogies.
one other thing, during diplomacy and trade, will we able to experience the different personalities for each of the 3 different races, since before the expansion, there is no campagin to play through.
when can we expect the first expansion???
so the sandbox mode comes with all the features of the multiplayer mode, except there are no story campiagin. In a future expansion, if Ironclad decide to release one, will there include a campagin. I think it is a great idea to have a well written engrossing cliff hangar generating campagin for sins, the game play potential is there and the backgroud story is epic already. Look what happens to starcraaft and command and conquer. Everyone were dying to know how both stories will ended.
Hello everyone I have a quick question, do Sins come with both a single player campagin and also a sandbox mode like in GC2. Also, if there is a campaign, can it play be through in multiplayer. thanks.
I preordered through EB games, so can i still preorder the extras pretaining to the collector's edition.
Does stardock current accept money order at the moment??? Also, if i would like to pay to be a member of Total Gaming.net, can i do so via money order. I current don't have a credit card. Can you please direct me to the appropiate department please. Thanks
Hi everyone, This is a question to stardock, I lived in Canada and I tried to go to my local EB game store to preorder a copy of the new Galciv2 expansion, they told me they don't have the release date on their database as of yet. Strangely, i was able to pre order sins of a solar empire without a hitch. Is there some change of relaease date for Twilight to like Feburary. If not, do you guys know when you will be informing EB of a release date so that i can preorder my game. Many
I have a question to any of you people who had a Commodore 64 and played games with it. Any of you guys played a game call Elite the space combat flight simulator game made in 1994. See back in 1994, i was in Canada only for 5 years but i did not had a computer, nevermind had play any computer games. but nowadays, everytime i see a space flight sims that are made, i always hear references to that game. it is like that game was the gold standard to everything that came after it. Bu
wait, i thought when you researched the plague cure, all the other civs gets to benefit automattically. What i mean by this is that once i researched it, all the civs gets accessed to the technology. or am i wrong??
if you guys read this month's issue of PC Gamer where it has the picture of a starcraft 2 marine on the cover, it has an article that talks about how to return open box games/software. It has to do with whether if you agress with the EULA liscence before installing the game.
I bought a copy of Galatic Civilizations 1 ages and ages ago. Unfortunately i lend my copy to a friend and he moved away. I still have the cd-key. the only problem is that i do not know my old account on stardock anymore, and when i bought Galciv2 dark avatar, i registered under my current account. is it possible for me to download a copy of GalCiv 1 from SDC using my old GalCiv 1 cd-key. If so, how????
have any of you ever wonder humanity's traditional perception of gods or god. I mean, the Greeks had their olympian gods who were bored and needs worshippers and then when they don't get what they want, they go postal on their own creation. Then comes the Judeo Christian version of god. for the Jedeo Christian God, it all boils down to if human beings don't worship Him, then it deserves to go to hell. I always wonder if that is really what God is like, or is it a social constructio
i am chinese but i currently reside in Canada. Does that count??
To all the devs in stardock involving in the making of the Galciv2 game, is it possible if each one of you write a biography of yourself as well as what you like best about the game development. It is something like what the Bethseda has done on their Elderscrolls website. Also, Brad is it possible either you or yourself tell us gamers how a game typically develops from the point where the design documents are written to the final completion of hte product when it arrives on store shev
for the update, i only see 1.50 081, how come???
i was wondering if someone can tell me on the starting menu, under tech progress rate. it has the options of very slow, slow, normal, etc. What are the differences between these different settings, does it mean research gets done faster for me and the AI opponents. and how does it get affected with various game difficulty levels?? thanks
I think there might be a way to be a bit safe from a colony rush, what i did for one of my games is that instead of getting my scouts or colony ships to explore all over, after i colonized like 6 or 7 planets, then i stopped all contacts with anyone. i kept to myself, while the AI players war it out amongst themselves. otherwise, this might be a good strategy because this way, The has less of an opponent to pick a fight with. let me know if such similar strategy works with anyone.
i always thought super isolationists are overpowered. i was allied to all 9 civs and i won the game, i did not know i won until the cutscenes poped in. but what you do is you make sure you have a very powerful economy, and keep giving the AI opponents money on a consistent basis, then there relationshiops changes with you to warm to very close. then when you researched alliance tech, ssk them to ally with you. chances are they will all say yes
when i finally gotten around to the dread lords, which by the way, is the first race i conquered, their homeworld was a class 39 planet and i think they had like...5 other worlds. I found that for 2000-5000 soliders, it took out 5 of them. But then, i already had everything in the tech tree researched in terms of weapons, armor, missles and drivers. my shield tech was almost at max. the other thing was that, i played a very strange game, on my mini star map, i am on one corner of the galaxy
i am not sure if my graphcis card would do it, i have a geforce go 7200/7300. my cpu is a toshiba dual core staellite p100 jr500e, 1 gig of ram. i tried this mod before but when i loaded up the game, it froze at the loading screen.

Thank you.
thanks everyone for the help.
i just found this on the Gal CIv 2 wilki website under racial bonuses: "Inherent bonuses are special bonuses that each preset race has on the top of the standard 10 points. You can remove all other bonuses to yield the standard total of 10 point available for customization. Inherent bonuses disappear if you try to customize that ability by selecting an option in that category. Other bonuses like Logistics and Miniaturization can never be removed or changed."<br/
