Sweet, it's color, I was just hoping for Vectrex level graphics!
You could always create their impulse accounts for them and login to setup their beta status. Then when they are ready to play, give them their login info.

moo3: biggest disappointment ever :(
Steam overlay is like a little interface that pops up when you press some key combination (of your choosing) which has your friends lists and active chats and a web browser and everything. The nice thing is it comes up over your game so you don't have to tab out. You can add the overlay to most any game, but for some reason Stardock games don't like it.
Thanks for the quick response!
I'm now running it on my production work system and my production home system. This is one sweet system. It's been rock solid stable and very fast without doing any tweaking at all. Much better than Vista was on its best day. Just as good (if not slightly better) than XP was as well. Pay no attention to the trolls that bash it just because of its name. Most of us that have actually USED it have been quite pleased thus far.
What is steam overlay? Sorry for the ignorance, but I have never used steam.
Firefly Eureka Star Trek (as a whole) Doctor Who ... ... ... ... ... (absoloute bottom) New BSG
Thanks for these surveys Denryu, they are pretty fun!
Looking great so far. Can't wait for the beta to begin!
So now FFH2 and elemental both have their creators writing books on it. Idea for 2017- Crossover game? New age of Turn-based fantasy? Yeah, four more weeks till beta- finally means no more 150ms lag nights of TF2 at work. Just be glad this isn't Japan- or you'd be getting Elemental Doujinshi.
Nice, didn't realize they were writing a book for FFH
Quoting Tyrion2001:
I think the big thing with the beta is not just how long it is but who you give the beta to. It is often the most hardcore gamers/modders that try to get in on those beta programs which is nice because they are going to push the game to its limits.
Don't worry about th
I'm pretty sure Silverlight is a Flash competitor.
Congrats to Stardock on the cert. Can say Impulse has been running great on my Win7 RC install. Ran just fine on the beta also.
BoogieBack, Thanks for the awesome update, it's really great to hear some specific stuff going on with the game!
Any chance you have firewall software installed that is blocking IE8? Most firewall software would ask first, but that would depend on the settings in the software. Also, there is the "work offline" setting most browsers have, but normally the window that pops up would say something to that effect while attempting to browse, I think. As others have suggested, going with Firefox is probably your best bet. Just giving some tips in case you are like

Plus, it's not how real research works: say you are trying to build a faster car. You would get a bunch of engineers, and physicists, put them in a lab with wind tunnels, engine prototypes, and tell them the specs. They might fibnd out some new stuff to help with later projects in the process, but in the end you get what you decide to re
Complete, ultimate, everything possible I think should top out at like $179 then scale everything down from there. Seems fair. Would love to see some type of whole home license packs also.
Preordered right away, the waiting is possibly going to kill me :(
I have a G5 Laser (wired - no pad, just a decent desk/table) on all 3 computers I use (Work, Home, Laptop.) As far as keyboards go, MS Natural Ergo 4000 for both home and work. (I've been thinking of stocking up on these, in case they ever stop making them, it has been my favorite by far, with 20-25 years of keyboard use.)

Thier last game PREY wasn't even finished by them, they handed it off to some 3rd party developer to finish. I know I'd sure like to have a job for 12 years and produce nothing. What were they doing all that time? How could Take2 keep giving them money and have NO real world results to show for it?
Actuall
I like the klingon because their ships can roll in and down for battle, I hoping that the kilngons in the mod would do that, what would be sick also is to see the nebula class do the same while we are on the subject of the nebula class, which one do you think was created first. the nebula class or the galaxy, i think in Memory Alpha it say that the Galaxy class starship spawn the nebula, on other sites it says different.
Just struck me as weird they decided to sorta undercut the original 1701 that started the franchise. I mean if theres a Enterprise prior to the 1701, than the whole naming system is thrown off for the other shows, the original ship should have been 1701-A, and so on. Sorta nit-pick but it bothered me. Interesting factoid about the name though, thanks for that
The initial letters were different also. On E
