Hey, It'd be nice if we could download the manual, or at least the tech tree's and ship-cheat-sheet from the downloads section. I'd like to be able to plan my galactic conquest while at lunch break @ work.

Yes, Because there will be one or two game altering patches in that time.
It's not like it costs an arm and a leg or anything. As far as I'm aware, it doesn't even take a slot. Just a 'lil bit of time.
Things like Culture and Trade should have a slow upward affect on your relationship with an empire. Kind of like how your culture spreads. I've gotten empires up to 75% and enjoyed some very nice benefits of that relationship, like getting them to help defend my space. However, I was min-maxing toward civilian tech, and the missions to destroy stuff from other empires started straining our relationship, once it dropped to 40% things started to sour. Hello, I'm new to Sins, I wasn't in the beta and just purchased the download copy the other day. One thing that irritates me a bit is being forced into Metal Mining or Crystal Mining based on the Asteroids surrounding a planet. Early game it can be quite frustrating having to go to the black market to buy crystals for almost anything you want to do. While I see merit in Asteroids that are only suitable for one type of mining, I think it would give the player more stra
